DIY Fitted Bedrooms Arvostelua

4th time I’ve used this company, 1st time they fitted everything and made bespoke furniture which is over 13 years old and is still good as new, the last 3 times I’ve bought components and Installed myself , the product is well made and solid. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for bespoke fitted wardrobes.

Thanks team for aftercare support also.

King regards

Matthew Dunlop

Ordered wardrobes for our bedroom in 2021, needed a bespoke unit made, this was done without any issues, wardrobes are good quality, communication was great, with any issues sorted out straight away….. fast forward to 2026, we are again looking at wardrobes for another bedroom, again we need a bespoke unit, sent 3 e-mails, all via there “contact us” option on the website, all were acknowledged as received, however only got a response after the 3rd e-mail from Gilly, the director, a phone appointment was scheduled with the designer Andy, however the appointment was missed, called the following day to ask why, was told he would ring me in an hour, still no call
Unfortunately it doesn’t look like I’ll be getting my wardrobes from you!

I ordered 4 drawer chest units from this company costing almost £2000 and was given a 6 week lead time for delivery. I was informed that the company would contact me the week before my delivery was due and I would be given a date and time slot. When it got to that deadline I received nothing, nada!. So, I rang them and was told that the company CEO had died and everyone was in complete shock. I'm not being cruel but this is a business and the death of someone is not my concern. So I was asked to extend the lead time so the company could get it together and supply my furniture. As the deadline approached again I once more rang and emailed the company asking when the delivery would be. I was told that the units I ordered had failed quality checks and they would be delayed even more. Not being very happy about this I asked if I could cancel the order, receive a refund and go somewhere else for my requirements. In response the company asked for another chance to fulfil the order and gave me a £300 refund which I have received. However, two weeks further down the line the goods had still not been manufactured and checked. In total I have wasted 8 weeks of my life that I will never get back! and so yesterday I decided enough was enough. I was tired of unanswered calls and ignored emails. I emailed the company yesterday and told them I was cancelling the order and requested a refund of the balance. My impression of this company could not be any more different to the other reviews left here and if losing a company head is the real reason then I suggest they get there act together otherwise the deceased director's legacy will count for nothing. Be warned! they may get themselves together going forward but for now stay well clear, unless of course frustration is your thing.

I honestly can't praise this company highly enough, they were outstanding from start to finish, the wardrobes arrived when advised. The delivery company were excellent as well and assisted me with unloading on the 1 day it actually snowed over winter! The wardrobes were really easy to assemble and install, i managed to do it all myself as a fairly competent DIY'er. Definitely easier if you have 2 people, especially for the bridging units and moving the double wardrobes in to position, but i managed on my own, just take your time with it. The wardrobes feel solid and i like that they have the proper 18mm backs to them. There were a couple of minor issues, as can happen sometimes, but Matt was fantastic in resolving them and answering any queries i had, it was also great value as well.

Chose this company because of the flexibility on offer meaning I could fit what I needed into the space I had. They had great choice of styles and colours. They talked through my order with me to make sure it was right. The furniture was delivered within a few weeks and the delivery company was very contactable and able to schedule with us. I was delighted with the quality of the furniture - so solid. It went together very well and looks great. A couple of niggles around the quality of the instructions (but I got great advice on the phone) and there was one error with the order but a refund was given for this promptly. Great value. Great experience.

Helpful team willing to discuss any potential issues prior to placing the order and assist with the design and ordering process.
Ability to tailor delivery to suit clients needs.

The second time I’ve used DIY fitted bedrooms and perfect as before. Very robust, square and accurate and a pleasure to fit. Delivered when promised in good condition. Thanks again.

Excellent personal service. Made sure the quote was all correct with our measurements. Furniture very good quality. Looks great so far. Delivery was also good. Will be using again.

Great product and service, we're really pleased with the DIY fitted furniture.

Great understanding between us and the company about what we wanted to achieve, talked over all measurements and they were a great help. All the units were perfect and fitted in 100%. Great company to deal with. Would definitely use again and would 100% recommend

Ordered and was called to arrange delivery, delivery was great - driver was very helpful to unload.

Furniture quality generally very good and was easy to fit. Only negative was I was missing some of the rafix connector housing in one panel. I sent an email and did not receive a response, no answer to phone call either. Ended up finding the items on ebay and buying them directly.

I have had two sets of wardrobes from DIY Fitted bedrooms and they beat firms like Sharps on quality and price. They are very robust, easy to put together and will last a long time. I had a Sharps fitted bedroom installed many years ago and when I came to replace it I noticed that it wasn't installed all that well and the materials were quite poor. I replaced it because the colour had faded and become patchy and it was literally falling to pieces. I have had no problems with customer service and the delivery was on time, even last year as we were recovering from Covid. My next project might be the kitchen so watch this space. On the whole you will find it hard to find cheaper and better quality furniture anywhere else.

Great service from start to finish at every interaction from every member of the team with a special mention to Sam who was awesome. Added to that a high quality product that looks amazing and was easy to put together. Thanks!

After getting a quote from Sharps, we did not like the design or the price!
I found these guys on the net so set about designing the bedroom myself.
The options on the website are vast and my daughter had no problems finding the style she liked.
The samples we requested arrived within two days, and when we submitted the order, I received a phone call to make sure everything was correct, and was given a few suggestions that I hadn't thought about too.
The furniture arrived on time and in perfect condition, it was easy to assemble and very solid.
It looks amazing and I tell everyone that I designed and built it (with help),
It is better than we imagined, and we are so pleased that we said no to Sharps.
If you're planning a new bedroom, don't hesitate, just buy it from here and build something to be proud of.
Now they need to start doing kitchens!

I bought four wardrobes to fit in my daughter’s house. Matt was incredibly helpful and adjusted the depth of two shallow units so that I could optimise the space she had. Everything went to plan with the delivery by Richard and the fitting by me. They look great - good quality product and ideal for her space.
Very pleased with the experience and the result.

I can honestly say this is the best company I've ever dealt with. Superb customer service and excellent quality furniture. We'd previously had bedroom cupbards fitted by another well-known company (perhaps I shouldn't say which one - but they spend a lot on advertising!). DIY Fitted Bedrooms come with very solid furniture and solid backs to cupboards. Before payment they check the order with you to ensure you have measured and ordered correctly. All parts are pre-drilled apart from the position of the door handles. Chests of drawers come fully complete apart from the top. Would recommend two people do the work as some sections are heavy (down to the quality of the goods). So pleased we followed a recommendation to use them.

This was the first time I used DIY Fitted Bedrooms. The website was very easy to navigate and the options available for both style and size were very useful indeed.
The wardrobes were delivered on time and of good robust quality. I assembled and fitted the wardrobes myself. The video's on the website reflect how easy they are to assemble very well.
Happy to recommend!

Professional service from initial enquiry through to final delivery. Very satisfied with the quality of the product.

Not having replaced the Schreiber fitted bedroom furniture for about 20 years, I was so despondent whilst searching online at how much it was going to cost us. All of the furniture shops such as MFI, Harveys etc ceased trading, and the furniture shops that do exist either don't supply fitted bedroom furniture, or are more suited to householders with extremely deep pockets!
It was such a relief to come across DIY Fitted Bedrooms and be able to afford fitted furniture that looks excellent. The staff were brilliant as was the after-sales. I would definitely recommend and use again in the future.

We got a quote from Sharps before we were recommended DIY Fitted Bedrooms and they wanted 6k for what have so not only have you saved us thousands I couldn't be happier with them and I hate DIY but even I found these easy to put together
