I purchased a “fuser” device from Dichen. The unit was unstable and malfunctioned in my setup (crashing, black screen no matter what). I worked with support for weeks and followed their troubleshooting steps.
When I requested a return, the process became unreasonable. They would not provide a prepaid return label, and the return shipping to China was quoted around $150. I was instructed to ship the return with a customs declaration labeling it as a “sample” with a value of $19 (purchase price was $419) and to avoid wording that indicates it is a return/used item. I declined to do that as that involves breaking the law and it could be used against me afterwards.
After that, Dichen started ignoring me and hasn't responded for over a week. I’m sharing this so other buyers understand the risk: if your unit arrives defective, they will do everything in their power to obstruct the return process. First they will waste weeks of your time, and then they will start ignoring you after you provide proof. Then they will ask you to lie to customs and pay eveything yourself even if it is their fault.
I WANT to return the product, I have shown evidence of the device malfuctioning and screenshots of the troubleshooting conclusion, I have asked for a return label many times, but Dichen refuses to accept my return.
