Dear Sophia,
On Thursday the 17th of October you entered your demand for an intervention on the Miele website and choose a partner for the reparation of your dishwasher. On Wednesday the 23th of October, on the 4th working day after your demand, we were already at your place to investigate the problem you experienced with your Miele dishwasher. We organised a new appointment for reparation on the 20th of November, due to delay of delivery of the spare part and due to your difficult agenda. Unfortunately the spare part Miele send us was DOA ( = dead on delivery) and we had to wait again for the right part. We returned on Wednesday the 3rd of December with the new part and discovered that the sieve house of your dishwasher was blocked due to calc. We had not noticed this earlier because we did not want to completely dismantle your dishwasher so that you could continue to use the dishwasher during the run-up to the repair. An extra spare part needs to be ordered and to be changed. Thursday (1 day after our intervention) your roommate contacted us to inform us about the water leak problem you experienced. We have a full planning each day (10 - 12 clients / day ) and we proposed to come in late evening to examine the problem. Your roommate clearly indicated that you did not want to stay @ home for this late-night free of charge intervention. We asked your roommate to send us pictures of the water leak problem. You refused to send us any information. Today, Friday (2 days after our intervention) our technician helped you by phone and by Whatsapp, between his clients, to resolve the water leak problem : the dishwasher drain hose is connected too low to the sink, causing water from the sink to siphon into the dishwasher.
Concerning the mentioned bill : these are the official Miele price settings which we are obliged to apply. We lost our time during the second visit due to a DOA spare part but we did not charge this visit. By the way, for 440 EUR you do not buy a new Miele dishwasher.
