They provide tenants with an 8 hour (9am-5pm) window on when they'll attend. I called in advance to request they come in the afternoon of the day they elected to come. Its nice that you get to speak to an attentive person on the phone quickly but it means nothing without the actions to back it. They came in the morning regardless, armed and ready to use the agent-provided keys so that they can move onto the next job ASAP.

But whats the point in my review anyway? its not going to be up to the tenant on whether to use them.

$845.90 for one visit!! Had a two year contract. One visit in we decided to sell the property. Had paid one year of the contract - $471.90. Detector Inspector claimed to have done almost all the checks in that one visit, so sent a supplementary invoice of $374.00 to accumulate the $845.90 total . Great hourly rate for them!
ps. the batteries they use also seem to have a very short life.

It's like this company has intentionally set up its business model just to harass tenants. Entirely uncooperative and unwilling to schedule a reasonable window of time for the service, insisting on a 5 hour window for a gas safety inspection - 3 hours to turn up plus 2 hours to complete the inspection. Rude and demanding on calls. Persistent calls during work hours to go around in circles - it took 3 months to schedule a suitable time, and it only happened when my property manager stepped in. The inspection was done in November, but now I'm receiving automated emails in January to "schedule a time" when the service is not even due - no opt-in to their database, and no option to unsubscribe or opt-out.

Have had these guys over three rentals now, they are fine with the smoke alarm services but the gas and electric safety results in multiple bookings that are either no shows or cancelled at the last minute with no reason provided and only bother to show up when you lodge a complaint. They only provide windows of time and don't advise the technician that they need to call prior. No consideration given to those who work full time, just an expectation that I can take a day off (without pay) with little to no notice. Call centre staff either don't add notes or don't pass them on to technicians, they repeat the same information over and over again with no understanding that they're not helping and are only aggravating it. Supposedly the schedules only go three weeks in advance so you can't even book in for a day you can get off after they cancel at the last minute, they make multiple calls to tell me the same thing they did last time. If you have any choice go elsewhere, customer service isn't something they place any value on
