This was my first STR investment…

This was my first STR investment property so I didn’t know what to expect for the loan process. I was quite nervous but the Defy team was able to walk me through the entire process and what to expect. Kim answered all my questions and kept me up to date on everything. My husband and I definitely plan on working with Defy in the future! Overall a really great experience.

The Defy team was great. Spoke to Anthony and Hannah and they gave great advice and service and were able to help me max out my cash out refinance. Highly recommend!

Love Defy Mortgage!

Love Defy Mortgage!! Its hard to navigate the home-buying experience being a freelancer, I didn't think it was even in the cards for me, but they basically did all the work for me. Defy makes it happen!

Waste of time. Refused to provide basic loan terms

The rep we talked to refused to answer simple questions like what rate, points, and origination fee. He initially quoted a really good rate and kept dodging our questions about points. Ultimately it turned out that it had thousands of dollars of fees higher than the other lenders we were talking to. All of this was separate from title fees and other standard closing costs, but he acted like we didn’t understand this. Other lenders laid out multiple options and did not make us repeat our questions many times over. Our rep was so incompetent I have trouble believing he wasn’t intentionally using these tactics to be dishonest.

Easiest mortgage process ever

Easiest mortgage process ever. I don’t know how Anthony does what he does, but it felt like my mortgage closed in the blink of an eye. Such a better experience than the last time I got a mortgage.

Defy gave me great advice

Defy gave me great advice. The professionals recommended an interest only mortgage which made sense and I hadn’t considered. I am referring everyone to Defy as my first option.
