Deege Solar Arvostelua 

We recently had Deege Solar fit our solar system & can’t recommend them enough.
We had a team of 4 fitting 19 x solar panels, 2 x batteries & a growatt inverter, all fitted in a day!
We had a small issue at the end of the day with some of the panels not working, this was due to a faulty connection which they came back to rectify the next day.
Nothing was too much trouble, they were all very friendly, professional and efficient. They even helped me out with some heavy lifting unrelated to their job!
Dave is very passionate about his work & strives to please, he’s very knowledgable & always has time to discuss/explain things. He works hard to create a successful business as do his team! Well deserved 5 ⭐️

Deege Solar added a new Growatt inverter, an EPS switch and 2 batteries to my 8 year old existing SOLAX panels.
I am highly delighted with the installation and the way it is performing.
There were a few hold ups initially, probably due to waiting for contractors who could install the EPS switch.
The staff on the sales, installation and technical support teams are extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable (special thanks to Kate and Aimee).
My only minor issue was lack of communication from them at times. When I was given an installation date, I would to ring them the day before to ask what time they would arrive, only to be informed it was postponed. This happened on more than one occasion.
Other than that I am very happy and would highly recommend them

I would highly recommend Deege Solar. We had a team of 3 in our house last week.They were all very quick, professional and efficient. They even went the extra mile and offered to fix a small electric problem in the house.Very approachable, friendly and passionate about their jobs. I am not too keen on having workers in the house while home alone but they were just a nice bunch of people which put me at ease. They also brought a very positive energy in the house especially Mick the dad.

From my initial enquiry about solar, it became clear that this was not your everyday company. There was never any pressure, or buy what we want to sell you, I clearly remember the first contact I had with Rod (system designer), it was a case of how can we help you, what do you need. We had some issues throughout the process, however, they were dealt with swiftly and honestly by either Amy, Chloe or Kate in the office, then came the installation, the team were excellent, from Mick - who literally hit the ground running, and didn’t stop, through to David (MD), Scott, Anthony, Rich and Johnny - who came over from another job over an hour away very late in the day. The all worked hard, cleanly and explained anything and everything along the way, their work ethic and determination to finish the project in one day was clear to see from the start. There are a lot of companies out there, not just in the solar field, who could learn a lot from the way Deege operate, with honesty, determination to operate ethically, and passion for delivery of a top class product, with top level service. We happily spent £13k and had 16 Aico 450W panels, Growatt hybrid inverter and Growatt 6.5kW battery, a system I can’t recommend highly enough.
All in all, an excellent company to deal with who treat you like a human, nothing is too much trouble for them, and the main one for me was the total honesty and dedication throughout from everyone I had contact with. Thank you Deege Solar.

What a fantastic installer with excellent customer service. Bobby in the sales team provided so much knowledge with great communication. Dave, Ant and Nick in the installer team were so professional with a tireless work ethos and keen to help at any time. And finally Scott and Kate in the Admin Team who provided an invaluable and efficient service. Would absolutely recommend Deege Solar to install your system.

I was recommended by someone who had used Deege. I have no complaints. Efficient, clean and tidy work, decent staff and David checked in directly with me thoroughly the beginning to end process. Our system was upgraded but we were not charged the extra for this. Our panels look great, the system is generating energy and all the staff were helpful and lovely.

I don't normally do reviews but here goes. Rod was great from the start in discussing the options and providing a quote. Upon placing the order I had a conversation with David (the MD) which put my mind at rest as we were having an inroof installation. The works proceeded as programmed and completed within a day. The electrical side was perfect, a very neat and tidy installation. There were however some issues with the finishing to the roof. To Degee Solars credit, David (MD) was open and honest and we agreed a resolution. David and Scott even made the 200mile trip (twice) to come and complete the works in person. I can't fault David and Scott at Degee Solar. The issues I had were with the roofing subcontractor rushing the job!! System has now been installed for 6 weeks and working well. If in doubt speak to David directly.

Initial customer service provided was good, up to the point you sign a contract for works, then incredibly difficult to get a response from anyone at the company.
Even with a 6 month lead time, my works were delayed by a month as they had overbooked. I was offered free bird barriers for this inconvenience - which when I pointed out they'd charged me £1k for in my order and i'd like this cost removed in that case, they quickly changed their mind and stated they were looking at the wrong order.
In the mean time, another solar company contacted me offering a better price for a bigger, higher quality system on a much shorter lead time..
On cancellation, you are told your money is returned in a month. After a month of silence, nothing.. It took constant phone calls, emails, and reference to both small claims court and my credit card company to claim this back (luckily chose this for protection, looking back).
100% avoid. There are plenty other businesses doing this work at the moment, find a better quality outfit for sure.

Recently had a solar panel and battery kit installed as was feeling the impact on our household bills, was 50/50 at first but the MD himself reassured me I’d see the benefit within months ( when do you actually see a MD get involved that’s what really sold it) and to he’s credit I’ve seen a 50% reduction in bills and haven’t had to pay for my electric vehicle charge in 3 months ( I do 90 miles a day ) very professional team with real life management of the customer expectations, not like some solar sales that should of been double glazing salesman! So so happy made a huge difference to our living standard

Update one year in. Very pleased with the system and the support from Deege following installation. The technical YouTube videos from Temi are very helpful. Rod Griggs was great throughout and the forecast generation in the quote turned out to be very accurate. Highly recommended.

My first initial contact i had with Deege solar was from the sales side, who where very knowledgable and made me understand what system would suit my property and what benefits i would get from it.
I had spoken with other companies before hand and did not get that welcoming approach until i had spoken with Deege Solar. From my experience i can see its a family run business and the communication has been flaunt throughout.
Day of the install Richie and Jonny turned up at 8am, which they had called me prior with a ETA. They where very polite and courteous explained what they where going to being doing and where all the equipment was going, to ensure i was happy with the outcome. There was a slight hiccup with the design but within 30 minutes in speaking with office they manage to quickly resolve the issue. I kept the lads hydrated and even made them a bacon sandwich which they where very grateful for.
Once the installation was complete they gave me a full demonstration of how the system works and set the app up for me so i could see it all working.

I would like the thank everyone that was involved in making this experience one to remember i would recommend Deege solar to all my friends and family.

Rod, David and the team have been great, from system design, to install, and the following 12 months support and getting DNO certification. The system runs perfectly, cashing in on the summer sun, and speeding up the ROI. Recommended to friends already.

We moved into a house that Deege had worked on putting in panels and batteries etc. I needed help transferring the registration and useage of the app. Temi was really helpful and patient guiding me through the registration process and I can now easily control everything through the app and making even greater savings.

Degee is extremely unprofessional and has caused us significant financial losses. We have been experiencing issues with the solar system that was installed by Degee Solar. It has been two years, and the batteries and one of the inverters still haven't been working properly. They have ignored our emails and made false promises over the phone. It seems that they completely outsource their work to subcontractors, and the last installer who came had very little knowledge and was unable to resolve the issue. I have sent Degee a notice, and now I am reaching out to a local solar installer to fix the system for us and recover the costs from Degee. However, considering the nature of this company, it is likely that the matter will end up in court. I have attached a screenshot of the email that was sent to the entire company, including the director, but, as usual, we haven't received any communication from them.
