Still waiting for a returns payment
Update 26/08/2025 - I have now received a full refund (from an order of 6/7/2025). I am relieved, but will think twice about ordering again. I checked my card account this morning and payment had been received - though not notification at all from DBZ.(My original review follows this update)
I ordered 2 Jackets from DBZ - supposedly from a partner company on 6/7/25. They arrived quickly, but both were much too big, so both were returned as instructed by Evri.
Evri say they are lost in transit (now over a month since returning), both DBZ & Brakeburn (the partner co.) said they would repay me the money. But neither company has. I've looked at reviews and now see that both companies have a poor record with returns and refunds. Very disappointed and still trying to achieve a settlement.
Useless company. Avoid
Twice i have placed an order (both over £200) , the money has been taken from my account only to be cancelled as item is 'out of stock' Then why take my money in the first place. It takes weeks for a refund. It's clearly a scam.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, egg chair broke after a couple weeks and all they have done is stalled and now ignore any emails. Will never use again and will get my card issuer to recover funds. Avoid like the plague.
The sizing is way off and shrunk after 1 wash.

The jumper material rough and itchy on the inside garment and shrunk after 1 wash, could only wore it once and that's it.
A $20 Kmart kids clothes is still on a better quality than this.
Gave 2 stars because at least we got the item and the picture or colour as advertised.
My husband loved them
They made the shoes EXACTLY how they looked on the photo. And they looked even better in person. I think my other half will keep these as a collectors item.
Very Bad Experience with the Customer Relations Team
I had to leave the country and thus wanted to cancel the order but I never could cancel it. Now I don’t know where you guys have delivered this order despite me trying to cancel the order/change the shipping address to a relative.

Seems to be one massive scam. Do not buy anything from this site. Told a refund was being processed, it never arrived. When i complained i had a dodgy whatsapp call with a guy demanding i click on a link he'd sent immediately whilst on the call with him or they will cancel the refund. Dread to think what would happen clicking on that! Scammers

Over 3 MONTHS for a refund & not the full amount refunded!
Bought a pair of shoes from DBZ Marketplace through Debenhams online. Purchased on 24th April 2025, returned as they were all quality, cheap-looking, cheaply made, and the sizing was completely off. It's now 27th July and I have just received notice of a refund - over 3 MONTHS LATER -- minus £1.99 (for some reason Debenhams does that?) and minus the original £2.99 postage I paid. I'm disgusted. Not only do they look like they're worth a fiver (if that!), but the deductions in the refund is terrible, and there's no excuse for a refund to take over 3 MONTHS to be processed. Never buying from Debenhams again. They've gone way downhill and used to be my favourite shop when the Cardiff branch was open. Sad.

Purchased a bag wasn't suitable, sent back 23th june, they received back 27th June, still waiting for a refund now 23rd July,. Don't not buy from this company. Messaged on WhatsApp, email, messenger, only reply you get is got to wait 14 days for refund.

Still no refund for items I sent back on 21/06/2025.
It says the received them on the 27/06/2025 and that the refund would be with me shortly. Currently £46.04 out of pocket. Disgusting customer service. Just automated chat bots, Whatsapp or email which they don't reply too.
Avoid this company
Like most customer, avoid this co Panay. I thought I was purchasing something from Debenhams, but it turned out to be Dbz. Awful quality of bag, I returned it and they emailed to say my refund was being processed, this was on 2nd July, not 21st July and still no refund. Credit card charge back coming

Placed order 21st June 2025 took till 19th July 2025 for them to tell me im out of time. I wouldnt even give it a one star if I was able to do so. So angry and frustrated with Debenham Customer Services. There's no number to get in touch or speak to anyone in person. You send an email or text message. They respond well after the 7 day period. You send a second email again another 7 days. Don't even look at what you require assistance with. Tell you to wait to see if item comes, give you a deadline which is well over the 2 week return or check order policy. Then have the audacity to say they can't check orders over a certain period and won't be able to do anything other than for me to go to the complaints department???? Well that's a joke. Good look with getting through to them? There very quick yo take your money, but after that your on your own. I wouldn't mind I've dealt with Debenham for years never any issues. Since they went on line totally the opposite. I will never buy anything from them. Disgraceful.

A tangled web
A tangled web resides in Dale Street Manchester. It was my wife's misfortune to deal with two of the grasping spiders! The tangle web started when my wife put a dress in the debenhams (they are not worth caps) basket. The payment page was switched to dbz. Sorry, I don't know how the switch was done but my wife duly paid the £85. I only became involved when my wife complained that the dress had not arrived. There is a different review on debehams. Contacted dbz who can't even be bothered to reply, to any emails, but the money left my wife's account quick enough. Money for nothing. dbz and debenhams are part of the same group, according to companies house, working out of the same offices on Dale Street, Manchester. Reading other reviews it amazes me that they can stay in business. Never mind one star that should be minus stars. I did notice a reviewer took them to court. I wonder if he got his/her money.
This company is a joke
This company is a joke , do not use under any circumstance . I am still waiting on a delivery that is still showing up as in transit. I was told my order would be delivered with in 5 working days it has now been nearly 3 weeks . The fact you can't speak to anyone regarding this matter is a joke . Avoid ordering from here
