"I strongly warn everyone against DB Investing. I managed to make $2343 in profit, only for them to seize it all under the pretext of 'Trading Patterns
They use deceptive and impossible terms to trap traders:
• They changed the minimum trade duration from 40 seconds to 30 minutes overnight without any notification! No real trader can stay in a volatile market for 30 minutes by force.
• They mandate trading on at least 10 different instruments, which is a ridiculous rule designed to make you lose money. A trader should focus on what they know, not be forced to trade random pairs.
• I trade both Buy and Sell positions, but when I won, they claimed it was 'Bonus Abuse' because they simply didn't like that I made money.
Withdrawals are delayed for over 4 days only to result in profit cancellation. They are a 'Market Maker' that hates successful traders. Save your money and go to a regulated, honest broker."

So I have been with this broker for 3 weeks now. Everything seemed to fine, I had no warnings sent to me or any acknowledgment of violations. Payouts started to take a while but were fine. Then last week I went to withdraw £4500 out of my trading account. This morning I wake up to a rejection email followed by emails stating I had allegedly violated terms and conditions of scalping that dated all the way back to February for no more than £500 worth. Then 15 minutes later they take my whole account from me, ALL £5100!!!!. These people are complete scammers. Do NOT trade with them. I am now £5000+ out of pocket because of this broker. Do NOT make the same mistake I have.

This means we must receive complete bank details—not only the IBAN—so we can securely confirm that the account belongs to you. These procedures are mandatory for the protection of all our clients, doesn't matter the amount that will be transferred via bank transfer. Also, if an incorrect IBAN (or, in your case, sort code) is provided, it may result in duplicate fees being charged to us rather than to you (for outgoing and bank transfer return).

I'm currently facing a serious error, but hopeful it will be resolved soon. I placed a short trade on US stock AIV. The spread appeared relatively tight (circa 5.66-5.77) but when the trade executed it was opened at 1.1 not 5.6! It then auto-closed for margin reasons almost instantly at 10.66! This left a near-instant loss on the trade of $9560. This is not a thinly traded microcap but a company with market cap of almost $1 billion.
I've asked for reimbursement of my $1500 deposit. Thus far I have always appreciated the fair trading conditions and client care at DBInvesting, but I don't think this latest incident reflects well, and needs to be handled with fairness.

After several friends had issues with withdrawing money I decided to withdraw £100 from my £1500 balance just to confirm it was legit. It wasn’t. I didn’t receive payment even thought it was confirmed and approved. No responses or explanations. Three other friends all had same issue.
Very quick to take your money but won’t ever return it, even if you profit or lose.
Emailing daily regarding my request and have since had my account balance reduced to zero for raising the matter on not receiving payment. Please don’t make the mistakes I did and chose an other company to trade with.

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way — and we take any withdrawal concern seriously.
That said, the key facts here matter:
- Your account was funded with £1,500.
- The vast majority of the balance was lost through self-directed trading activity, primarily on XAUUSD (Gold) and XAGUSD (Silver).
- The £100 withdrawal request was submitted only after those trading losses, when the remaining free equity was limited.
To be clear: we do not “take” client balances or “reduce them to zero” because a client raises an issue. If an account balance goes to (or near) zero, it is the result of trading losses, spread/financing (swap) costs where applicable, or margin-related liquidation, depending on the instruments and leverage used.
On the withdrawal point: if a withdrawal shows as “approved” but not received, it’s typically due to one of the following operational factors:
- Bank/intermediary processing delays,
- Card/PSP reversals (like your case, you can receive the same after 5-7 working days from the approval)
