I am Danny, palmist, card reader and hypnotherapist, fascinated by divination and the inner worlds that it reveals. I work online and face-to-face in Hastings, UK. Your hands are a map of who you are: your constitution and patterns, strengths you can draw upon and challenges you face, as well as turning points in your journey. They encode endocrine profile, circulation and immune function, alongside psychological and relational patterns that shape your life. Understanding these gives you a clearer picture of yourself, how you are wired and how to make better choices in line with who you actually are. Every fork, loop or droplet is like a word with a clear meaning. The art is piecing the words into a story that brings self-understanding. I have been studying palmistry intensively for 15 years, but long before that I was interested in traditional and Indigenous knowledge systems. My academic background is in the History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine. I have written books and journal articles looking at traditional wisdom through a modern scientific lens, and I give regular talks translating ancient knowledge into a framework that makes sense to modern people. Recent talks explore what the fingerprints tell us about embryonic development and personality types, and how the structure and tissues of the hand tell us about endocrine function. I read at Mysteries in Covent Garden and Brighton, was an accredited member of the British Astrological and Psychic Society, and teach workshops around Europe on palmistry.
