Hi Joel, we do earn a commission when readers sign up for cards through some of our links, and that helps keep the newsletter free. The redemption advice is the real thing, though. Those are the same tips and tricks we use to book our own travel.

Daily Drop for the win
The Daily Drop writers make the points earning and redemption game completely understandable. If I didn't know better, I would think they were once elementary school teachers! I have learned so much from them!
