Poor customer service.
We ordered a table that was delivered on 28th December. Unfortunately when the table was extended it didn’t close properly which meant there was a gap on one side.
We contacted Daals straight away, they asked for pictures so the they could be reviewed. Then the fun started!
After 27 emails and umpteenth phone calls, they have this week managed to deliver us a new table top.
They have caused a large amount of stress to myself and my family, my husband had to have half a days holiday from work, but their driver was unable to read road diversion signs and didn’t have the decency to call us but just didn’t turn up!
I’m writing this review on here as I’m sure all Daals will have to say is “I understand or I’m sorry” neither of which we now believe.

Daals asked for proof of purchase because they couldn’t find it, we asked for compensation and had a response saying they are very busy, strange that.
After reading other reviews on here it looks like it’s not just us but lots of others have also had lots of stress put on themselves due to this diabolical company, and we’re still waiting!

I've been trying to return very poor quality bedside set of draws for weeks now. Not only did they make me unpack the whole order and take photos of every individual part to return it but after weeks of back and forth they then turn things over to their collection team. It's been weeks since then and I still have heard nothing.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING THEY ARE TERRIBLE.
Good look but not durable
Bought a boucle 3 seater sofa from daals a few months back. Looked and felt great at first, now after 5-6 months of normal use, the foam lost all strength and you’re basically sitting on the frame… I wish I had paid £200 more but for a sofa longer lasting than a few months…
Trying to return a chair is slowly killing me
I've been trying to return very poor quality chairs for 23 days now. I ordered a dining table on the 9th February. Since then I have yet to receive the item. Albeit the item would be delivered BY the 22nd February not on the 22nd. Since my order I have not had one email on the progress of the item. I have had to email to request an update such as has it been disptached? Is it with the Courier? 2 stars is because I do get a reply from Customer services but it is always the same reply. 'The courier will be intouch with you when they are ready to deliver the item'
I am currently in hospital after an operation and need to arrange someone to be at my home to collect the item and this can't be done last minute as I live far out away from family and friends. I've explained this to customer services but no progress or help has been given to try HELP give a definitive delivery date. Sitting waiting for nearky 2 weeks eveyday for something to be delievred in teh complete darkness is poor service. I wouldn't recommend this company personally, the lack of updates has put me off buying here again.

Their customer service is honestly shxx, a man answered my call and probably thought my case is too complicated to handle and he hanged up!! It’s ridiculous don’t recommend to buy from them.
Non refundable broken dining chair
I bough 8 dining chairs and now a year after the purchase one of them broke, leaving my normal weight guest on the floor badly bruised! When I complained about the durability of the chairs they've only said that the 12 months warranty was expired. So they mean they chairs only last a year! Disgraceful customer service and policy! Stay away as although their products look good online, they are of bad quality.

I would honestly give 0 stars if I could. I bought a sofa that is shown as a very dark green on the website with a token sentence about how colours may be slightly different etc. The sofa arrived and was a bright green as opposed to the dark shown on the website - SIGNIFICANTLY different to the colour shown on the website, there is no way it can be described as slightly different. Daals offer 30 day returns but the customer has to pay to return the item! It's hardly like returning a pair of slippers - I've had to pay for a courier to ship a heavy sofa back. After doing some research, it is illegal for Daals to do this; if the item is significantly not as described they have mis-sold it and created an unfair consumer contract and should cover the cost of the return. Every time I speak to one of their customer service agents I get an extremely patronising reply telling me the colour difference was my 'personal preference' and loads of other useless information and no one acknowledges the fact that Daals are not allowed to do this. AVOID this company at all costs, horrific products and even worse customer service.

Purposefully misleading returns policy.The is a notice across the top of the site that says 30 day returns.
But that only applies to a very small percentage of purchases those that are damaged or wrong order received.
It is I think false advertising as they appear to offer you the flexibility of 30 days for an online purchase but in fact if like me to don't decide on a return immediately, you find that you only actually had 14 days and it's gone past the window to return the item.
I don't trust this company now.
Terrible quality and service
Bought furniture for whole flat from Daals, not good quality but looks ok so kept it because will probably only live here a couple of years. Put a cup with a wet bottom on the coffee table and the veneer melted away like tissue paper. Contacted customer service and they asked for more photos which I sent. Got a second email asking for more photos from some else which I sent. Got a third email from someone saying they couldn't do anything about it because the warranty doesn't cover cosmetic issues only manufacturing! Why I've no idea and why I had to send three emails when they knew they wouldn't cover it I don't know.
Edit: The legs are now turning green. They are using a fake trust pilot score on their site.

Purchased solina sofa bed, arrived in reasonable time Friday 8th dec, erected on Saturday the 9th, sat on the sofa for 30 minutes and the sofa collapsed, the front leg rivet had come out, breaking all the thin plywood behind it. I emailed them with photos straight away, I received a reply just after midnight asking me to send pictures of the huge box it came in before they can respond???? the box was bigger than our living room and was taken to the tip straight away, the fabric that covers the sofa is all baggy also, I would not expect that after 30 minutes. I have tried to place an honest and accurate review under the item on their website and it is removing my 1 star review based on the product and service. A suitable reply would have been, yes I can see that the sofabed is not fit for purpose, we can replace or refund and collect, not can you take a picture of a cardboard box before we respond?! trying to get it collected and refunded but I wont hold my breath, I can see me having to escalate this..... are they aloud to remove accurate reviews? is it not misleading the public? Anyone else reading this if you have had a bad experience please email rip off Britain, I have, and the more of us that do gives us more chance of exposing this company. Let's not let anyone else lose money to this company! The seemingly russian roulette furniture store that don't like returns or refunds! Terrible customer service
Preordered a dining table that was supposed to be shipped after restock 11/14. My credit card was immediately charged. A few days after the announced restock date, I hadn't received a shipment notification and checked with customer service on the order status. They told me the table had not been restocked yet and a new date was not available. I was told the table may not be available by the seller anymore. I asked for a refund if they can't fulfill the order which was confirmed. Then they send me a message saying the order was getting ready to be shipped and to ignore the previous message. Then I get another message saying the cancellation went through. I really wanted to have that table since it was exactly what I had envisioned and only canceled because it was no longer available according to customer service. I see shipments have since gone out and people review it but I am not able to order it again. Terrible customer service.

Securing A Refund For Non-Delivery of Goods Is Painful

I cancelled my order of a dining table because it failed to be delivered.
Now I’m told I have to wait for a refund until the dining table is returned to Daals from their XDP distributors’s warehouse - on current performance, this could take weeks!
Reply from Customer Services:
“This was raised to our management team, and apparently, we can't raise the refund until the item is back to us.
Please be advised that this is our standard process for refund/cancel orders.
If a dispute with Paypal will be open, this can delay the refund up to a month.
We appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter.
Yet again, apologies for the inconvenience.”
