Worst Company Ever
Ordered a chair, waited three weeks, sent the wrong chair, and then ignored
I ordered a refurbished Humanscale Liberty chair from Curated because they advertise themselves as specialists in high-end refurbished office chairs. The listing clearly stated Liberty and the price reflected that model.
First problem: delivery. We were told the chair would arrive within 7 days. Instead we waited over three weeks, despite being continually told it would arrive on X day, and then X day, and then fed a sob story from the MD about how his staff had left, he received a large order, and he is raising young children!
Second problem: when it finally arrived, it had been delivered by DPD to a completely different location (a pub with a similar name a couple of miles away), so we had to track it down and collect it ourselves.
Third problem: the chair itself was wrong. We ordered a Humanscale Liberty and were sent a Humanscale Diffrient World chair instead, which is a different and cheaper model.
I emailed the company immediately to explain the issue and ask for it to be resolved. Despite the fact that the mistake is completely theirs, the Managing Director has not responded at all.
So to summarise the experience:
• Over three weeks waiting for delivery that was supposed to take 7 days
• The courier delivered it to the wrong place
• The wrong chair was supplied
• The company is now ignoring emails
For a business positioning itself as a premium refurbished office furniture specialist, the service has been extremely poor. At this point we are considering escalating the matter through our credit card provider because we cannot get a response from the company directly.
Very disappointing experience and I would not recommend ordering from Curated based on how this has been handled.
