Cucumber Recruitment Arvostelua

Don't apply for them, They have almost next to no care home shifts and the ones they do is way out of the area, All community care shifts, Meant to be an agency but if you don't apply for a shift on there demand they Kik you off the app, Tell you there paying you for training then don't pay you.

I had started this agency start of January, Matt decided to cancel my shifts for the week agreed, they wasn’t going to give me any shifts at all (right idea looking back now) then i had done 2 weeks of work i cancelled one shift with a week notice, Matt didn’t do this and made this my fault for him being incompetent, Then to top it off they forgot to pay me for a shift i had worked over a week ago, i know i am not the only person they have done this, a truly horrible agent and agency to work for, if i could give a lower rating i would.

Cucumber recruitment called me for a pre-employment screening on the 4 December 2025. I told them I had a right to work and over 2 years experience in care and support and I was a refugee in the UK. And the person on the phone told me that they do not employ refugees. Is this not discriminatory and racist policy for a company to not employ refugees who have a right to work and experience? When did it become law in the UK that refugees were not fit to work.

Great recruitment agency, can’t fault them. Would 100% recommendation!

"I have had the pleasure of working with Cucumber Agency, a truly exceptional company that embodies professionalism and excellence in healthcare services. The team is comprised of the best and brightest individuals in the industry, and I've had the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills in healthcare delivery systems during my time here.

Cucumber has invested heavily in my training, providing me with world-class education on medication management( thanks to Joanna and JB for facilitating this), dementia care, supporting individuals with physical and mental disabilities, and delivering high-quality care to service users. The experience has been truly amazing, and I feel confident in my ability to work in any care setting globally.

I highly recommend Cucumber Recruitment to any care or support homes that prioritize world-class services for their clients. They truly stand out in the industry, and I'm grateful to have been a part of their team."

What a amazing company to work for Carole is a complete star has guided me from day 1 she goes above and beyond to help you in everyday thank you Carole.

Cucumber recruitment is the best company I worked with so far.All of the staff members and procedures are brilliant.Pay is very good as well.

I have enjoyed a good working relationship with Cucumber providing Block Booking, Scheduled Cover as well as Emergency Cover. Registration is very smooth and straightforward making it attractive to new beginners. Their Compliance Department is quite efficient, staff are reminded when trainings are running out plus DBS renewal. At this meticulous approach l hope they can be successful if they venture into Care Home Business.
