CTO Academy Arvostelua 

The CTO Academy courses are essential for anyone who is at the forefront of technology areas in companies of all sizes. The course content covers exactly everything that is needed in the routine of a CTO. The teachers are great, the e-learning tool is complete and the team is always ready to answer your questions.

My experience with the course content has just been phenomenal, just so many takeaways and tangible upskilling.

The content is engaging, relevant and current. Any aspiring tech leaders should definitely sign up for the course. I learned more in this course than I did in 4 years at University.

CTO Academy definitely has one of the best Executive Tech leader programs out there. The faculty is also very knowledgeable and most of the time connected all lectures to practical examples in a corporate setting.

I look forward to some of the other products they are developing in the future. The biggest challenge tech leaders have is to remain relevant in these uncertain times and I think CTO Academy has done a great job by bridging the gap between technology and executive management skills.

I've been following CTO Academy since around roughly it launched. At first, I found some of the blog articles insightful and informed some of the work that I did as the Head of Engineering at my startup. Also went through their Foundations program which was helpful.

Eventually I signed up to be part of the first cohort of the Digital MBA program. While there were some rough edges around it at first, by the end of the program some of them had been smoothed out. CTO Academy is a startup after all. It's hard for me to quantify how much I gained from the program over the last 11 months, but I've definitely gained a significant perspective, toolkit, and vocabulary for technical/ business leadership.

Outside of their paid offerings, their slack community group is awesome. Lots of activity and smart folks sharing resources. Definitely a perk!

I'll continue to be a fan of their work and following CTO Academy in the future.

This foundation course packs most domains a CTO will handle and provides clear visibility and distinctions of other C Suite roles, with practical insights.

CTO Academy is great place where you connect with global community of leaders and entrepreneurs. I am enjoying the conversations and for me this place is a C-Suite accelerator program. Double Value for what I have spent.

Can’t believe it’s been 2 years since sign up! While the range of content is good, the depth of content is not that great. There's much better content available on YouTube for free. Normally when we pay for a course, we expect stuff that's not available easily online. The delivery of content was also bad in some of the videos where unwanted background music takes away the focus. The only thing I liked here was the range of content and the reference links that helped build a perspective on how to prep for becoming a CTO, but on its own the content here wasn't promising enough.

CTO Academy is an amazing ecosystem.

I've only been involved in coaching and from the few sessions I've had so far, it has really helped me step up my game and answer so many questions that seemed so complicated in the past.

As an aspiring CTO I stumbled across CTO.Academy while looking for resources to plug any gaps in my skill. The course is good, the people involved are friendly and knowledgeable. Their Tribes program has been a positive experience. Discussing not only the things that are necessary to be good CTO but also day to day interactions and issues has been invaluable. As an accidental CTO, I've had to grow really fast and figure out a lot of stuff on my own. Around the time I signed up I was doing a lot of searching for answers to questions like "what the hell does a cto do", "what is an effective cto", "how do I create a technology budget" and seemed to endup on CTO Academy quite a bit. I liked the ebook and the lifetime offer email.
Around that time, I was also going through my receipts and expenses for fiscal year 2018 and realized I'd spent around $300 on Udemy. Most of the Udemy courses weren't all that useful and the useful ones were technical and not really about leading people and doing the job of a technical leader.

I've taken several pages of notes, my focus right now is on trying to prove value as fast as possible.
I like how you and Jason aren't using static slides and reading off of them. That is the most annoying thing about a lot of Udemy courses, and I like how you've tried to stay pretty generic and stay away from specific technologies. That's a big plus compared to sites like PluralSight.
I really like the simple confirmation quizzes at the end.
