Crowd Founder Funding UK Only
I had no idea about Crowd Founder. I saw videos of this organization on YouTube and signed up, visited their site to learn more, and chatted directly. I applied for funding. They showed me all the processes and I was hooked.

Hello Carla,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are pleased to hear you received good support initially, the platform is set up intuitively to offer this experience. However, we are truly sorry to learn that you felt unsupported after this.
That is certainly not the experience we aim to provide, and we take this seriously. We offer a myriad of resources and support at Crowdfunder including:
- our Knowledge Hub, which has a wealth of information and tools to help you with planning, creating, running, and delivering your project. From support articles to past webinar recordings there is a wealth of information here - https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/knowledge-hub
The Crowdfunder Social Media Hub for all of our best tips on promoting your project and driving those pledges: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/guides/social-media
Plus our chat bot Fin and human team that I can see you have spoken with several times via email.
I can see that you mentioned you wanted in person support. This is unfortunately not something we can realistically offer when we have hundreds of projects added to the platform each day and only a small team.
If there is anything specific you'd like us to look into improving support wise then please don't hesitate to get in touch directly with us about this and we'd be happy to help.
Kind regards,
The Crowdfunder Support Team
Massive underhand ‘tip’ leaves a bad taste
Paid £50 to a local charity. Bank statement for £60. £10 of this is for a tip apparently. I did not opt in or approve this. Underhand and leaves a bad taste. Will not be donating again through this site.

Hello Ben,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback.
Please be assured that tipping is completely optional on Crowdfunder during the checkout process. You can either use the slider to adjust the amount or click 'Enter custom amount' to type in your chosen tip amount, including £0.
The tip is used by Crowdfunder so that we can help more projects. We do not charge any platform fees for projects that are charitable causes, not for profit and personal fundraisers. We therefore rely on the generosity of those that can afford it, to tip the platform. It's through voluntary tips that we can break even and can cover our staff costs.
If you have any further questions or you'd like to talk to the support team about resolving this, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via email.
Warm regards,
Crowdfunder Customer Support
