Just into my final year of my IVA with creditfix and missed a payment due to a change of bank details. Spoke to
a fantastic young man called Charlie McAteer who helped with taking the payment and sending me a link to set up a direct debit to safeguard against any future card detail changes. I'd like to take a moment to praise Charlie for his helpful and professional manner which left me happy and confident about any future payments.

The 2 stars are purely for when i started with creditfix , if i could give 0 for the end of the process I would .

When I first signed up with creditfix, they were amazing! Really helpful couldn't do enough, that lasted around 3 years ...
But as I was coming to the end of my IVA I decided to settle it sooner and asked for a final Settlement amount , they sorted this for me and I had less than £1000 left to pay so I agreed to that Settlement, they told me that while I was waiting to pay final Settlement that I was not to stop my monthly direct debit because it would go against me , so I ended up paying an extra £90 AFTER the Settlement amount was agreed.
I paid it all off and then asked for my £90 back as I was assured over the phone by one of the staff that this would be returned to me once the IVA was closed .

I received an email stating that my account was closed ( Great news!) I then sent a reply asking where my £90 was ?
They claimed it hadn't overpaid and couldn't find anything on my account, I replied that I have proof that I overpaid and received the most rude and insulting email back arguing that I wouldn't get the money back , I told them I didn't agree to the extra £90 being taken and that they were stealing .
They didn't reply so I raised a payment dispute with my bank and my bank instantly paid it back to me .

An awful end to the process after such a lovely start , after this experience I hope I never have to have dealings with them again , I would NEVER EVER recommend them to anyone because of how they dealt with me at the end .

I’ve now successfully completed my IVA and I’m really pleased with the service I’ve received throughout the process. Everything was dealt with professionally, and whenever I needed help or had questions, things were explained clearly.
