Ordered a great bag at a great price. It shipped from Italy and was here within 10 days. No issues at all with shipment.

***Please beware of their bad business and unethical business practices.***
For any company shipping internationally and NOT informing consumers there would be additional fees before a consumer makes a purchases is bad business tactics. Don’t advise me after receiving an invoice from FedEx of fees that as a consumer was not aware of at the point of sale and not giving the consumer the opportunity decide whether to make a purchase. If there’s fees that would be assessed for the sale those fees should be included or clearly stated and not receiving an invoice after the fact from FedEx, because again, if I would have known, I most definitely would’ve purchased from another source. I will NOT make another purchase with this company/seller again.

In January 2026 I ordered a Herno down jacket from Coutr.com (order #2390, $410.62, paid via PayPal). I returned it within days of delivery. Coutr confirmed they received the return on January 14, confirmed it passed inspection on January 15, and told me the refund was ready to process. They then held it, citing an open PayPal inquiry. That case closed in my favor on February 20, and PayPal refunded $102.66 directly - Coutr itself has refunded nothing in the eight months since. My follow-up emails in March and August went unanswered. In September, after I sent a formal demand, Coutr offered only a partial $223.74, keeping $32 for "shipping" and $52.22 for "duties," even though the order shipped domestically from California, so no customs duties could apply. I have asked for the remaining $307.96 by September 16. As of this writing, the money has not arrived. Be prepared for months of persistence if you ever need a refund from this merchant.
Update in response to Coutr's reply:

Coutr's reply does not match the facts. For months, they did not answer my repeated emails. I tried to reach them by email many times and they never contacted me - only after I posted a public review here did I receive any response from them for the first time. During the PayPal dispute they gave information that did not match my records, which prolonged the case. I had to spend hours on the phone with PayPal myself. The $102.66 was not refunded by Coutr - I recovered it myself by winning the PayPal dispute. Coutr has never returned any amount to me directly.

As of September 19, 2026, the remaining $223.74 they promised is still unpaid. It is deeply disappointing that it took a public review to get any response at all.

Resolution update (September 24, 2026):

Coutr paid the full $307.96 to my PayPal account on September 24, 2026 (PayPal transaction 5EE990440Y078561T), shortly before my deadline. The payment came only after eight months, a formal demand, complaints filed with the FTC, the New York and California Attorneys General, the IC3, and the BBB, and this public review. Coutr also provided the DHL customs duty invoice I had requested, which documents that the duties were real and billed to them. I consider this matter resolved. Buyers facing the same situation: keep everything in writing, insist on the original payment method, and do not share bank or Zelle details.

I mean how is this company still trading? What are the standards for a company who is selling items - which includes taxes and insurance that every item meant to be sold by them, instead I got notification that apparently the seller can put the charge on buyers name. This is not going to happen in this situation I have cancer I do not work and since I have bought the item and have got the website which clearly shows no additional taxes or imports I deny to pay any hidden fees of this company. People should avoid shopping here as it is a very misleading the way they corporate.

I ordered a pair of shoes from this online store, shoes never came or shipped, Customer service was no help, all they say is they’re contacting/ working with the vendor, but nothing ever happens. Please do not shop at this online store, it’s a rip off, scam, etc. They act like they’re gonna send your items, but never com. Lucky I used PayPal, and they’re gonna get my money back. Stay away from this online store, SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

Coutr Sent me used/pre-returned shoes for the price of a brand-new pair.

I paid the advertised price, and the seller is based in California. After the order shipped, I received an email saying there was a shipping exception and that I had to pay an additional $91.50 for my package to be delivered. If I didn’t pay within three days, the package would be returned to the sender.

This additional charge was not clearly disclosed upfront. On most reputable sites, information about taxes, duties, or additional fees is clearly displayed during checkout often stating whether duties and taxes are included or not included. In my experience, the way this was presented was extremely misleading.

After everything, I was charged a total of $691.50 for shoes that arrived clearly used or previously returned, despite paying what I believed was the price for a new pair.

I currently have an open PayPal dispute regarding the transaction. The seller offered me only a $60 partial refund, but wanted me to close my PayPal case first before they would issue it. Closing the case would mean giving up PayPal’s ability to oversee and potentially protect me in the dispute, so I was not comfortable doing that.

Make your own decision, but based on my experience, I would avoid this seller at all costs. Be very careful about undisclosed additional charges, the condition of the merchandise you receive, and especially any request to close a payment dispute before a promised refund is actually resolved.

I’m sad I didn’t read all of the reviews saying basically the same things before I ordered.

Coutr.com states that items are shipped within 1–3 days. I ordered a Gucci polo eight days ago, and it still has not shipped. Tracking information just says unfulfilled with no explanation for the delay, and the multiple emails and follow ups I sent to customer service have gone unanswered.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this site. Both the lack of communication and unfulfilled order are unacceptable, and have left me concerned that I may have been scammed.

I purchased an Armani t-shirt from this site for $200USD. Order # 3922. The sale added $35USD shipping cost, and “$0 taxes”. Their site expressly touts “ no extra charges”. The item was delivered as expected. Then a few days later, Fed -Ex sent me an invoice by email for $44USD in “import tax and handling fees”. I forwarded this to Coutr.com expecting that they would take care of these unexpected and undisclosed “extra charges”. They responded that there was nothing they would do for me since the item was obviously already released to Fed-Ex and delivered to me. I replied with a straight forward explanation that no one would knowingly pay a total of $79USD for shipping and handling of a $200USD item. I demanded a partial credit or a full return for refund. They again denied any refund of the undisclosed “taxes and handling fees”. And to top it off, they said I could return the item but would not receive any refund of the shipping or subsequent tax/handling fee. So they are basically telling me to eat $79USD for the privilege of buying and returning this t-shirt. Coutr.com is obviously deceiving American customers who are unaware of where their item is coming from until they get a post-delivery invoice from Fed-Ex. Their site sucks you in by telling you there will be “no extra costs” and “$0 taxes” when they take your order and. your money. But when this is revealed to be untrue, Coutr.con could care less about their American customers who fall into this trap. Please tell all educated US consumers to beware this unscrupulous business. I purchased a sandal from this company it was shipped from Italy. Wrong color was sent then I was sent a bill from fedex for duties? This company is extremely untrustworthy do not purchase from them.
