Cotswold Lakes & Escapes Ltd Arvostelua 

Excellent service from the team at Cotswold Lakes & Escapes. Always use them every year to stay in the Cotswold water park.

We stayed at 1 The Landings in July and had a fantastic time. The house was perfect for our family of four, with plenty of space and a really well-designed open-plan living area. We especially liked how the lounge was set back like a cosy snug, making it feel both spacious and comfortable.

One of the highlights of the trip was paddleboarding directly from the house at sunset – an unforgettable experience. The location is also an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds, with great family cycle rides to places like Cricklade and Cirencester.

We didn’t need to contact the management company during our stay because everything worked perfectly, but when we were booking they were always quick to respond and very helpful with our questions.

We’d happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful location.

We very much enjoyed our stay at 78 Spring Lake! The whole house is so spacious and clean with amazing lake views, particularly when we were sitting in the decker watching my granddaughters doing water skiing and paddle boarding in the sunset. Such an impressive experience for our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Summerlake 2 and would happily come back again. The accommodation is in a beautiful location with stunning views, making it the perfect place to relax. The beds are very comfortable, the lounge sofas and terrace chairs are fantastic, and the shower is excellent. We also really appreciated the DVD collection, which was a nice and cozy touch.

Of course, there are a few areas that could be improved. There were insect screens, but they were difficult to operate and there were none in the master bedroom. Good-quality insect screens throughout the accommodation would be a welcome improvement, as would a coffee machine. The TV quality is quite poor (around 480p), which makes watching TV less enjoyable. The refrigerator was so cold that many of our groceries actually froze. There was also some maintenance work one morning, including a tree being cut down right in front of the accommodation. Of course, this isn’t always avoidable, but it did take away a little from the peace and quiet.

A nice extra would be for the owner to provide a paddleboard or a small boat. With such a beautiful waterfront location, it would make the experience even more special.

Despite these minor points, we had a wonderful stay. The positives far outweigh the small drawbacks, and we would definitely recommend Summerlake 2. We hope to return again in the future.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful, quiet location. Secure garden, perfect for the dog and lots of walks nearby. Booking was straightforward and company responded promptly to email queries. Check in and out info sent before our trip was clear an had detailed location info which was especially useful as it was very rural spot. The cottage was situated in between two villages that both had good pubs and were only a short walk away. It was also a short drive to a number of local attractions. We enjoyed our holiday and so did the dog!

Booking via Cotswold Lakes & Escapes was very easy and straightforward. The team could not have been more responsive and helpful organising a weekend away. Check-in was smooth, and we had a wonderful break. The houses are fully kitted out with everything you could need, and made a comfortable base for a great weekend. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!
