Don’t deliver to the US. Not a problem at all, but it would be better to make it clear up front. Still haven’t received refund and wasted time shopping on their site.

Addendum post reply from CoolNovelties.co.uk: Before even shopping on your site, I carefully read the Delivery section and found nothing explicit about the inability to deliver to the U.S., hence I continued to spend time shopping. During checkout, the auto-complete on the shipping address selected Virgin Islands (U.S.) for me and accepted my order - I never personally selected this option. I order from the U.K. often and shipping restrictions, if any, are usually presented somewhere on the site; my suggestion is to have an explicit statement on the Delivery section stating something about the embargo to the U.S. to avoid wasting time up-front. I haven't received the 2nd email about the refund yet: it's now Jan 05 and the refund was initiated on Dec 28.

P.S. This is not a big deal. You have a great store. I hope you can figure out a way to spread your business to the U.S. Happy New Year to you all!

Ordering easy no issues delivered quickly

Really pleasantly surprised that the cables and coasters I ordered arrived so quickly and are very good quality. To find a place that sells leads with the correct plugs and sockets for older gear and are a cut above some of the basic rubbish you find elsewhere and are, in my opinion, of comparable if not better quality than some of the overpriced stuff out there. Sometimes you despair that you might end up paying more than you paid for the original equipment just to get leads to make them work, but in the case of CoolNovelties, they have the leads with every conceivable plug/socket combination - and if they haven’t, they say they’ll make one for you (I’ve not tested that service yet). My wife finds it amusing that my old hifi gear now comes under “cool novelties” rather than how seriously I take it. I will be ordering again.

A safer option to buy from a local business rather than AliExpress which although cheaper, has a chance of not working with a PAL console and would certainly be poorer quality.
Also a good price with fast delivery included and I prefer to support a local business.

Bought a very difficult to find item and while it was quite expensive for what it is i shouldn’t need to buy another one. My item was delivered nice and quickly, packaged well and was good quality. Would definitely check with cool novelties again if i need something difficult to obtain.

December 22nd 2025, After contact, we have received the cable without any extra costs. It was perfectly resend to us.
