Unlike some others, I've never gotten a poorly done jersey from these guys, but their customer service is just brutal. To preface, I have 12-15 of their jerseys, with some others on the way. Recently I had 3 orders, when the first was 2 weeks passed the est shop day I emailed with a few questions, two days later it shipped, no replies. Couple days later I asked about the status of the other 2 orders and no reply. Another email, no reply (repeat 3 x). Then I wrote another, long email asking all my questions again and asking them to immediately contact me. Got a generic email about clearing backlogs. Emailed again asking for my questions to be answered, nothing. Both orders finally shipped, over a month late, the other day. We'll see on how they are when they arrive. The first was well done.

Order placed early January. Promised Jan 18 on their site, changed to feb 17 due to hand stitching—but I didn’t even want a named jersey—that was a MANDATORY selection or I couldn’t get that specific jersey. When I contacted the company about a shipping update (to be fair the date change WAS in the fine print) they stated that everything was on track to ship, as it was already in production.

February 23 I received a cancellation notice due to lack of stock… piss poor job by Cool Hockey.

They used to be an amazing company with great customer service, but I can assure you that is all in the past. Twice in the last year I had ordered something which either never arrived and was cancelled, or arrived nearly 4 months late. All because of issues with their inventory system. This may be passable except the first issue was nearly a year before the second, and they still had not fixed the issue a year later! If it is such a big issue you would think they may fix it, but that is not the case. This shows a gross neglect for their customers. And on top of it all, they only responded to me after repeated emails both times, and in one case weeks later, and continually brush me off with empty apologies and no show of true remorse.

If I could give Coolhockey less than 1 star, I would. Terrible experience. I was promised delivery on Dec 15, of my November 21st order. Then told days before Christmas, that the order would not arrive in time, but would deliver before end of the year. It’s now Dec 30. No feedback. No replies to my emails. No one at Coolhockey answers the phone. And the company has just blocked me on X. I have alerted the Better Business Bureau and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, to resolve.

Took a few emails but finally got great customer service, returned emails came quickly. Jersey came within 2 days of shipping. Great quality jersey, sticking, lettering and numbers were done perfectly.

This company has terrible customer services. They consistently have inventory control issues . Place order order is confirmed, then 2 days later they cancel your order.

This is a scam! All the reviews saying they made up an excuse to not send their order; they did the same thing to me. Ordered over a month ago and now they are saying they can’t ship because of duties and fees and said they would refund 20% of my order (they did not) and told me to keep waiting. Do not order!

Order a jersey with estimated ship date of 1/24. Week and half after I contacted them as the order still said "unfulfilled" with a automated response. A follow-up led them to tell me that they had issues with equipment and it would ship in 10-15 business days. Reached out later that day to see about adding an "A" to the jersey since it had not yet been produced. No response since. Order still not shipped. No answers via email, phone, or social media. Have a friend who also order something to have it cancelled 2 days later due to stock issues. I have contacted the BBB and my bank for refund. Nothing as of today (3/4) from them. Terrible service!

I ordered a custom Kraken top (with name and patch)

It took 6 weeks to get an update to say it had shipped but with no shipping number. I got an automated a few weeks later with a number that could not be delivered but no further communication.

I have emailed 5 times and just get an automated email telling me their working hours. I have got to go back to my credit card provider for a refund

Bought a jersey with VIP Service which includes 3 business day processing to shipping. That was 22 days ago. I paid 100 dollars extra for that service, I have sent multiple messages, the order is still processing with no shipping date in sight and no responses from them.

Horrible company!!! I ordered the Team Canada 4 Nations Jersey, none were sold out, they took my money and gave me the date of delivery, they sell out the next evening, two days after that, I get a cancelled order reading - Due to high demand order cancelled. No response back from an email I sent. So unprofessional. They cheated me out of my jersey, I could have ordered from a different company instead of trusting these morons but now everyone is sold out. What a bunch of idiots running this company. The worst customer service from a crappy company. Don’t trust them, they will screw you over and won’t care, so don’t trust them. Just shitty company.

No customer service after sale. I sent a picture of jersey to customize, they got back right away said they would do their best to make it work. After jersey sent in and order placed, have heard nothing for a month.

Please do not order anything from cool hockey, I ordered a jersey custom mid November, on the invoice they said the shipping was going to be around 3 December, I wrote to them on 12 Dec they said my order is a bit late and I should expect it before Christmas, as I sit here on the 21, no new on shipping nothing, absolutely the worst company, do not deal with them.

I ordered my Jersey from Coolhockey and they delivered as promised. I was concerned about placing an order with them since I had never used or heard of them, but I will say the jersey is as promised. The jersey is 100% Authentic! All patches, stitching, and work on this Jersey is perfect and 100% what the players are using on the ice. I could not be more satisfied with the the entire experience.

Bin begeistert von CoolHockey. Meine zweite Bestellung dort war ebenso einwandfrei, wie die Erste. Und es wird nicht meine letzte gewesen sein, denn CoolHockey macht einen super Job. Die Trikots sind original ADIDAS, und auch die Verarbeitung bei der Individualisierung (handgenäht) sind erstklassig!

Do NOT use the Cool Hockey Jersey Send In program. They put a comically oversized name bar with questionable colour matching on my son’s size 42 Adidas Ducks Jersey. At $119 for hand stitched customization the joke is clearly at my expense. They did not even respond to the e-mails that I sent to them. They do not stand by their workmanship. (I actually sent them 4 jerseys that all had some issues with alignment and orientation of the name bars and numbers that they stitched on.)

the reason i am writing this is to educate the public about buying authentic jerseys and getting pro cresting work done. 👀

pro nhl jerseys and pro cresting is time consuming and is not cheap! be sure to pick the right outfit especially if your crested jersey is going to be a gift and/or needs to be completed in a time-sensitive manner.

back on july 9, 2020, i made a decision to get cresting work done on a detroit red wings authentic jersey. player name : datsyuk, number 13, with "A" on the front. i picked coolhockey (CH) because i thought, at the time, they would be a good choice and they were local in the area.

after CH finished the cresting work, jersey they sent me pictures as i requested, and the player name, specifically the A within DATSYUK was shaped and cut wrong.

after sending CH 14 different pictures, and some heated e-mail exchanges, to point out what was wrong, CH was unwilling and unable to understand what was wrong and i refused to accept the jersey. CH insisted that there was no wrongdoing with the cresting.

to CH's credit they did refund me full price paid minus shipping for the cresting labor, and replaced my blank jersey that i sent in. i am mentioning this to be transparent and to let people know that custom cresting work is usually a final sale, as is, no refunds or exchanges. which is why i have created a 7-point checklist below.

after having wasted 3 weeks of my time with the event explained above, i ended up sending my jersey to vintage detroit (dot) com to get my jersey done correctly. vintage was so amazing that i ended up doing a total of 7 red wings jerseys with them. i also had 2 tampa bay and 1 ny rangers jerseys done with hockey authentic (dot) com (HA) from the vancouver area, BC, who were excellent. i def recommend HA for cresting of all the nhl team jerseys.

in summary, my lessons learned and my advice to anyone spending their money on cresting work is as follows:

1- study in great detail, and understand the details of the jersey/cresting work you are looking to get done for the team and year of your choice!

2- research cresting companies, you can start with the ones i mentioned that did great work, and create a hotlist. ask lots of questions.

3- if you are paying top dollar for pro stitching, accept nothing less than pro tackle twill stitching. do not accept printed twill cresting, do not accept buying a pre-crested jersey from the adidas factory, no matter how convenient it seems, if you want the real deal.

4- don't just rely on reviews. insist on seeing previous work done by whichever company you choose to deal with. again, ask lots of questions.
look at why reviews may have been bad, and ask what the company did to fix problems and what did they learn from such problems.

pricing typically for cresting work will be $100-$130 CAD (at the time of writing this review). don't worry so much about price, focus on quality of work!

5-* most important!!* insist on having a mock-up done before final stitching is done. a mock-up is where the company cuts out the letters and numbers, and places them on the jersey. when you get a picture of such, that is the time to check for and catch any mistakes. if you are okay with the cutout's, the company will then stitch and glue them onto your jersey. 🤔

6- budget 3-6 weeks all-in from the time you punch in your order, to the time your finished crested jersey reaches your hands. if you are sending in your own blank jersey and/or are buying from somewhere else and then sending that in, expect delays with travel time.

7- understand that when you see pre-crested jerseys online, they come from the factory and adidas uses printed twill which is inferior to pro tackle twill, yet they are charging full pro cresting price. if you are ok with printed twill, that's your choice.

bottom line: i would not use or recommend coolhockey(dot) com for pro cresting of any kind for any nhl jerseys.

Terrible. Just terrible.
