Don't waste your time and money, they will soon say they have frozen your account with an excuse and refunded the money. But none of your followers will be able to get a refund. A disgusting institution whose strategy is based on confiscating small amounts of money from creators . Work with professional places like vonza.com You may pay 100 dollars a month, but you will have peace of mind.

These people make up there own rules and change the meaning words to fit their own agenda. SCAM ALERT.
Do not use these scam artist who just want your money with heartless discontent. Run to other services that understand what an email list is and they don't change the meaning of words to make the rules up as to fit their own selfish immoral company

Zero customer service, just bots. Wildly out of date youtube vids and articles. So much time wasted trying to make this work.

Overpriced and very limited and the design area is not at all intuitive. Feels like super beginner software or something. BARE BONES. It's easier to just use the free version of Mailchimp. Why anyone would pay for this is beyond me.

I was shepherded over to Convertkit from Fanbridge when Fabridge sadly went away. Convertkit offers none of the features that a performing artist like me requires.

I started a Mailchimp account and just started using that but kept my convertkit account open until I had a chance to make sure I had all of my contacts, etc...

I have a little over 400 contacts - not much. I was being charged $9.80/month which is what I was paying with fanbridge. Then I noticed all the sudden they were charging me $30 a month! There were three months of the new higher charge. There was no communication from anyone about it.

Anyway. Not worth it.

An absolutely dreadful experience and waste of time right from the start. The so-called welcoming committee interrogate new clients with dumb-ass questions when all you want to do is get started. When I told the bot I simply wanted to get started on my project, I informed him (it) that I have other accounts, namely Wix and Canva that let me get on with my projects without dictating to me what I want.

"Hi there! Thank you for waiting. I see you have a case open with other product specialists. Please respond to that case to avoid duplicate tickets. I may need to close this case to avoid confusion. Thank you." - Coline

That was my last piece of correspondence with the 'help' lady. The only one left confused is me, the client.

Company has no idea about content of European GDPR:
* don't know which regulation to apply on which data set (don't record country of origin, e.g. with IP address)
* refer to obsolete Privacy Shield (and claim in Email everything is ok)
* due to missing privacy rules on original user page there is no consent at all
* store data after unsubscribing from original webpage
* more things about allowed processing time and verification steps are not aligned with GDPR
* want to record more data during data deletion process (exact country of origin)

Short: ConvertKit stores data without consent and refuses to delete data with normal request

Writing for hours only to find out my work has been erased.

Been pointed to "not open multiple tabs of convertkit", but that was not the case.

Took their sweet time responding, and in the end they did nothing.

Customer support was OK, sadly they are the ones taking the "shots" for the poor backend system that the higher ups invested in.

Consider alternatives if possible, if not, make sure you copy everything in a notepad, because every other tool has an online saving option, but this one, despite saving over 20 times, didn't save once.

I have been using CK for years, because of the free integration with Thinkific (only reason).
Not that bad but the mail editor is bugged as hell.
You can't even write accents like this one ^ which is so common in french for example.
Support doesn't seem to care.
So I may change next year if nothing evolves.

Convertkit just wants your money. They do not care if their service is a fit for you. They do not care to answer questions, such as "how can Convertkit help my business?" I mentioned the guy in chat not answering my questions and he turned around and said "I didn't know you were asking a question". He stated he thought I was venting!!! That should tell you everything you need to know. Once they have your money, they do not care.

You do not need this service and if you are making a profit, they will eat into your profit margins heavily. There are better options out there. Run.

Absolutely dreadful customer support. I wanted to set up a simple evergreen newsletter after subscribers finished a 5 day sequence. I reached out 5 times to support to help add the subscribers back into the automation and every time someone did something new to the automation which completely messed it up. My subscribers are yet to receive an email because no one has a clue what they're doing! They've added all sorts of tags and segments to my automation which make no sense. Some of my subscribers are stuck in the tags. Some are stuck in completed (even though they never finished the sequence), and some are stuck because of bulk actions. A support staff added 500 subs via bulk action and now I'm told I can't do anything with them. They can't receive any emails unless I send out a broadcast which is terrible. Moving email provider as I'm paying $60 a month for a terrible service. Honestly, I'd avoid at all costs. Don't fall for the glowing reviews; likely affiliates who can profit from a decent payout without ever using the system themselves!

Do not waste your time with this email marketing provider. Their terms and conditions are impossible to pass. They do not work with many niches. It is very unclear what content restrictions they have and what you are allowed to promote. They will not give you a clear explanation. If you see any email provider asking 10s of questions of your account confirmation, delete the account immediately and do not waste your valuable time.

Easy to use interface and I like the idea that their free plan lets you test all the features without forcing to upgrade. Good for users with small email lists.

Good email marketing software for beginners.

They have a privacy policy that is forbidding too many email marketing topics. If you are not respecting these rules, you get instant account closure. So, you have to wait for the customer service (hours) until they export and send you your email list.

If you are looking to run strategic email marketing campaign. Then, convertkit beats its competitors with so many features.

We love how we can use their visual email builder, and setup automations based on opens, segment users based on clicks, and setup very detailed email interaction based on the customers journey.

We use them as our primary tool for running email campaigns and will continue doing so after migrating from active campaign to several other tools that we tried before shifting our entire email list to ConvertKit.

If you are looking for solid delivery and comprehensive email sequences but dont want that process to get cluttered and make it simple. ConvertKit works the best.

Many tools these days are complicated their tools with having bad UI, and having so much complication. This simple nature of building a tool which makes even a kid go lala when using this service is amazing, its truly designed for creators who dont know much about emails but still would like to setup an entire customer journey with simplicity.

I started to use before 2 days and while was going through and trying some of the features as broadcasting my account was closed.
Actually I have just succeed to sent 1 empty mail to one of my personal mails and they shut me down.
Now I have to write and ask them why.
But as a read the other reviews obviously this is one of their main problem. I really doubt to use them even they unlock my account. It seems that you cannot rely on them. What if they stop your business and your losing money because of it. And after if you agree with their terms why the hell it is needed to close your account for checking?!

We were collecting a lead through a form we created on ConvertKit. All of a sudden, they shut down our account. Now we can't even export all of our contacts we collected through the form anymore. We've paid thousands of $ on paid ads to get the leads and they didn't give us a choice to export them.

There is a lot of email service providers such as GetResponse, Aweber so on and so forth. Avoid them at all costs otherwise, you will be wasting a lot of money and time. I really hope you won't make the same mistake we did.

Easy to use system but they keep suspending my account so I can't send out emails to my customers.
The customer support keeps asking the same questions even though I told them the answer 3 times before in the same chat.

Hard to recommend when I can't use it 50% of the time.

This marketing tool is amazing and had an easy time installing and setting it up for our website. It easily integrates with most tools.

Unfortunately, the one things we needed was pop-up compatible with Elementor which unfortunately did not exist - but as soon as it does we will be defiantly switching back to them (plus, beats mail chimp)
