Scam with shipping from China.

Dear ComfySteps Support Team,
Thank you for the update regarding my order, but I find this unexpected delay completely unacceptable as we had confirmed via e-mail that your company is based in Howick KZN. More than 24 hours passed since reaching out to this e-mail (which is the only form of communication as there is no phone number) with no feedback post the delay message sent.
I purchased these shoes with the expectation that they were available locally and would arrive within your standard delivery timeframe. Waiting for an international shipment from an overseas warehouse does not work for me.
Therefore, I would like to cancel my order with no penalties.
Please arrange for a full refund to my original method of payment immediately.
Kindly confirm once the cancellation has been processed and the refund has been issued.

Complete and utter scam

Complete and utter scam. Fraud. These are cheap shoes off of Temu that are resold. Item received. Falling apart. They collected saying will send new pair. That was 3 weeks ago. Zero correspondence since.

You still ask "what went wrong"…

You still ask "what went wrong" everything went wrong! After 5 weeks I still dont have my order. No phone numbers and only an email from a "Sarah" This company is a scam and I am about to lay fraud charges.

Unfortunately, we ran into a stock shortage with the particular size and colour you ordered, which caused a delay that was much longer than we would normally expect.

We did our best to keep you updated while we worked on getting everything sorted, and we’re really glad that your shoes eventually made their way to you.

We’re a small South African business with real people behind ComfySteps, and we genuinely care about our customers and their experience with us. We don’t always get everything perfect, but when something does go wrong, we’ll always do our best to communicate and make things right.

Thank you for providing your details. We’ve now been able to locate your order and investigate what happened.

According to our records, your full refund of R1,250 was processed on 6 July through Yoco, our payment provider. A refund confirmation email was also sent at the time.

We’re very sorry for the frustration you experienced. If the refunded amount has in fact not reflected in your account, please let us know. We will contact Yoco directly and investigate the transaction with them so that we can get the matter resolved for you.

We’re a small South African business and certainly not a scam. We take concerns like this seriously and will always do our best to resolve any genuine issue with an order or refund.
