Excellent, well made coir mat for my front door. It looks good, and is very effective for cleaning footwear before entering.

We’re so pleased to hear you’re happy with the quality of your coir mat and that it’s both looking smart and doing its job well. A well made mat should be as practical as it is attractive at the entrance.

New door mats
Eventually found a supplier of proper front/back door mats and ones that offer no backing on them (as they make them waterlogged).
They are beautifully made and look fabulous.

We’re so pleased you were able to find exactly what you were looking for. Providing traditional coir mats without modern backing is important to us, as it allows the natural fibres to perform as they should.
It’s lovely to hear you’re pleased with how they look and the quality of the finish. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Satisfied
From ordering to delivery this order was dispatched with competence. Both ordered coir doormats will sit outside, under shelter, and have enhanced the two doorways. (They look so pristine I barely dare wipe my feet!)
I made an error in not ordering one with a rubber backing to help it stop “walking”, the other fits into the lower recesses of the door jamb so stays where it was put.
Overall I’m very satisfied with these mats.

Thank you very much for your considered review.
We’re delighted to hear your mats have enhanced both doorways and that you’re pleased with the quality. They are designed to sit beautifully at the entrance while providing practical, everyday use. Even if they do look almost too pristine at first!
With regard to movement, you’re quite right that a rubber backing can help where a mat is laid directly onto stone or tile. We’re always happy to advise on the most suitable option, should you need any guidance in future.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

Smart traditional mat
It's a treat to discover that these traditional coir mats are still available in natural materials. Very robust and smart - they do their job well.
First time around, the wrong size mat was sent, but the response at Coir was not only an immediate and individual apology, but the correctly sized mat appeared within three days!

Excellent quality mat
I’m very happy with the mat! It looks lovely and the quality is excellent. The only thing I would mention is that it came in a huge box. Very unnecessary for the size of the mat 😂 but the product itself is top notch. Would highly recommend!

A good quality product
A good quality product, which arrived on time and was well packaged. It works well and it looks smart.
It replaces one that was in good condition after 13 years but someone had trodden in something smelly and we were never going to get rid of that smell.
I've guessed the date because I don't remember, just that it was in the run up to Christmas. Thank you.
