Poor experience of this company. Would advise any unhappy customers to report to Trading Standards and ActionFraud.

Yep we too had a very competitive quote from them. However they took forever to get quote to us, always called from a mobile. Rarely picked up emails. Something just didn't sit right. So I carried out some due diligence.

Lots of red flags.
-Website years out of date
-No social media presence
-Addresses in both Bournemouth and Southampton non existent
- No showroom
- Not limited company

Total scam.

This is a scam company. They only exist on paper. We have lost thousands to them Phil Hall and Peter Noble (Glassworks group ltd where my money actually went) have both visited my property and both have walked away with money but never completed any work. Avoid.

Thank you very much Lyn Paton for your review, I also had a quote from Coastal which I was seriously considering, and you put a doubt in my mind, I have spent the morning doing a bit of research and as mentioned by you I could not find them at any of the three addresses given in the brochure. Further more I could not find a listing with companies house either. The person you mentioned is a registered officer of Glassworks Group Ltd along with a female with the same surname. It appears they have been in business for just over a year and already have a fraud complaint registered against them, recorded on the business disputes register, their first years accounts are also overdue. If the person mentioned is behind Coastal then there are too many red flags for me, he has been involved in a number of dissolved companies previously including one called Lifestyle Conservatories Ltd, a coincidence maybe? I don't know but am unwilling to take the risk, you might well have saved me a good deal of money and subsequent headaches. I also researched the proprietor named in the current brochure (Phil Hall) to no avail. I thank you.

We agreed to have an orangery with Peter Noble who was the salesman for coastal conservatories. He took a deposit and the money went into glassworks account which is a company Peter Noble owns. He is trading under coastal and has not fulfilled the quote given we paid 23k for just the glass and we had the wrong doors delivered. Last year and now he is saying because I’m complaining they are not going to replace the doors that were ordered by us. He is conning people out of money and employs people to install the conservatory under false pretences.
It’s now nearly 8 months for a quote of 6 to 8 weeks. The glass and plasterboard was left in our driveway for two months. It’s been a total nightmare. I wouldn’t touch this company especially as the brochure has three addresses that don’t exist. We drove to the Bournemouth office it had never existed.
No response from glassworks group Basingstoke or coastal conservertories & orangeries. Now apart from wrong doors delivered the roof lantern is now leaking into the room and guttering leaking.
Phil hall the fitter had also stopped communicating. Peter noble has put a picture of himself on Facebook posing as Phil hall glassworks director.
DO NOT TOUCH THESE COMPANIES.
