I loved every bit of this email. I always look forward to Rohan’s weekly words of wisdom, but this one especially resonated with me.
The timing couldn’t have been more perfect — I just started reading The Artist’s Way, which talks about turning our inner blurts into positive affirmations. It felt like the universe reminding me, yet again, of its beautiful synchronicity.
Rohan’s analogy of the ‘inner Gollum’ was such a creative and refreshing way to look at the negative voice we all battle with. Thank you for sharing this powerful reminder to call out the lies and keep feeding the good.

I usually received emails from Coached. God knows when did I subscribe to those. But today, when I was clearing out my emails, this caught my eye.
And I was surprised and disappointed at the same time.
surprised because - what an essay
Angry because I why had I never seen this before.

A lesson that I learned back in a February email has stuck with me and I recently shared with a client as well. The lesson was to start emails with the bottom line. I tend to be pretty wordy, so I now try to make my main point or decision or question up front and then provide more details below. A client recently told me she's the same way with wordiness and said it was good advice. :)
