Clothkits is a shop in the heart of Chichester and is full to the brim of gorgeous fabrics, indy sewing patterns, haberdashery and yarn. It is a treasure trove of goodies for everyone who loves sewing, crafting and all things colourful! We are authorised dealers of Janome and Bernina sewing machines and offer a very personal service where you can try before you buy. We also offer a free demo for every machine bought from us! We are also authorised dealers of Liberty London fabrics and stock a huge selection of the classic Tana Lawns as well as seasonal collections.

What a great shop and staff.

I am lucky enough to be able to pick an order up from the shop.It always a delight to visit , really helpful friendly people in the shop...but oh so tempting to add to a fabric stash.

Items I have bought are excellent…

Items I have bought are excellent quality, (fabric and patterns, kit for myself and friend) delivery was very quick. Love the company; am drawn to Clothkits as I have such memories of the original shop in Lewes and its glorious kits, so innovative. Bit of nostalgia for me and why not?

The 2 toilet bag kits were great.

The 2 toilet bag kits were great.
I had to phone for help finishing the games pattern one but once I had clear photos I was able to complete it.
I was very pleased with them as it's the first time I've tried anything like that.
I did email with a suggestion to change the wording as I understand I was not the 1st person to struggle with part of the instructions.
I have been making Clothkits for 60 years and am so pleased you have kept going and are expanding your range.

I love the packaging

I love the packaging - the attention to detail and care is notable and I appreciate it very much. It's also delivered with care by our postie.
Clothkits does have quality products - others have enjoyed the items made for them...now I got this latest order especially as a treat for me!

I had a phone call from you Clothkits…

I had a phone call from you Clothkits to apologise for the delay in delivery - it was due to the postal strike so not the fault of Clothkits. I really appreciated the contact and am very pleased with everything I have received..
