Worst. Lender. Ever.

Don't use them. Their bill pay system is archaic and slow, despite paying loan in full the interest continued to accrue while the payment was pending. They send you to collections when you have scheduled payments. Customer service is horrible. They make it out like it's so easy, but the monthly payments are obscene, and there is no leeway if you aren't making enough to pay (they give you a max of two 3 month periods of deferment, beyond that if you don't have money they hound you). Go literally anywhere else.

The sad thing is they are funded by Goldman Sachs, and they could easily update everything to at least give a decent user experience, but they don't, and an ACH transfer that shouldn't take more than 2 days takes a f***ing week.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback, we are always looking to improve the borrower experience.

To confirm, no interest accrues if the loan is paid in full. Interest accrues on a monthly basis if your loan is in full repayment. Climb understands that life happens, that is why we offer deferral benefits to borrowers that have trouble making full payments. Deferral benefits are often not provided to folks with private student loans, but Climb wants to help folks be successful with additional flexibility as it pertains to payments. If a borrower is making payments of any amount or if they are on a deferral, Climb will never send a borrower to collections.

If we reach out to students about their account being delinquent, it is not to hound or harass, it is to help them through options like a deferral benefit so they can get back on track and ensure that their credit is not negatively impacted. We want to do everything we can to help students succeed.

Although we feel that making payments is accurate and straightforward, we are reviewing the payment interface currently to see how we can improve so that it is more intuitive. We look forward to continuing the conversation with you. The Patience of Job

customer service person was polite, had the patience of Job, and helped all the way while I struggled to complete the application. I could have never done it with out her. Praise God for her. She stay with me wayyyyyyyyyyyy beyond closing time.

Climb is making it easy for me to go…

Climb is making it easy for me to go back to school without having to worry about making the full payment to the University out of my pocket. I like that the payments are reasonable and the interest rate is low.

Simplistic & outstanding service

The whole process was very user friendly & honestly simpler than I expected. As well as getting the results of my loan in a timely manner. I have overall been very satisfied & when I made a call to Climb their representative Brianna was very professional & helpful with a great attitude & energy. I really appreciate that especially being that good customer service is a lost profession unfortunately these days. I would definitely recommend Climb Credit for anyone needing a loan to further their education & career.
