So as promised I’m keeping you all up-to-date surprise surprise they didn’t show up to the mediation they claimed they didn’t have any paperwork but they’re going to turn up on the 15th of May and see me at court. I’m so looking forward to actually facing these people in court and after this gets thrown out, I’m gonna take these people to court and exploit them for the absolute scammers that they are, I can’t believe that this company is still allowed to run and it hasn’t been investigated by the police and they haven’t been thrown in jail. Please please please keep away from this company. It’s a scam company 100%.

BEWARE OF SCAM
This is the third time, I have written this review which mysteriously keeps getting taken down. Surprise, surprise.
My takeaway was targeted by these crooks and reading all of the reviews reflects my own experiences. I am flabbergasted that such a 'company' is allowed to even operate and hard working small business owners are left to the wolves. It is an utter scam. They employ a bait and switch strategy with a small fee followed by an extortionate fee without informed consent. Such parasites are leeching off hard working people who are actually productive and contribute to society. To anyone targeted by these crooks don't allow them to pressure you and don't be intimidated by the court letters. Stay calm and go to court. You will win. The law is very much against these crooks.

Attempted to take us to court for £1000 having done no work, no contracts sent and no agreement entered into. They falsely believed they had a legal case as we did not set up a gov gateway account (none of this was mentioned in the initial pitch). Avoid at all costs, the positive reviews here are likely in breach of business rates contracts now but Clements won't care.

PS. To anyone struggling, send back the court docs asking for a hearing and mediation, they will back down. Clements staff are cowards, their parents have a lot to answer for...

Pure Crooks, I thought I was smart, these guys scammed me, they are evil.

First class crooks, we are in the process of dealing with them in court. They promise you to reduce your rates, then immediately after submitting your form they will request £1000 from you without even seeing the results. YOU BETTER AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS.

I went to court yesterday and of course they didn't show up, just like all the other reviews. Please don't be scared about their court letters. They are scammers and won't turn up. How they sleep at night is beyond me. Stay away

Absolutely Scam Scam
They demand money but they don’t do no work at all!
I hope action against them will be taken soon!

I initially paid 5.99 to Clements with the understanding that they would only charge £995.00 after getting back the money paid to the Council for previous business rates. After a few weeks, they tried taking the payment from my account without my knowledge/permission. Luckily, there was no money in the account. They took me to Court and demanded the Court fee plus £995.00 and promised they would still apply to get the money back from the Council or refund the money paid. To date, I have not heard back from them I emailed and called several times. They don't respond to my emails and promised to call back each time but never did. Stay far away from this company, they are SCAMMERS.

This is business is scam! Lured in by £5.99 just to make you pay the £1K fee. Nothing had been achieved with the council after months and months of waiting. They need to be shut down as business.

DIDNT GET A REFUND AND LIED ABOUT PROSPECT OF GETTING ONE

This is the most horrible company I had to deal with . They promised to reduce my business rates...but nothing happened and they took me to court . The stress the horrible stuff you talk to ...is the last thing you want ....avoid...avoid..please

I paid 5.99 after the phone call with Clements. Then they asked me to pay almost 1000 for the outstanding balance or take it to court. I paid then and after 5 months and I did not hear from them further.

Avoid avoid scamer they try changing me 900£ they didn’t come to court so much stress i had for one year

I like all the other businesses that was lured into paying the £5.99 introduction fee was threatened with court procedures if i did not pay the £995.00 fees they charge even though i did not sign any agreement/contract with them at all.
Today i have just received a General Form of Judgment or Order stating that the Claimant (Clements Agency) failed to pay the hearing fee for the trial date 8/12/23 and therefor the case has been struck out (thrown out).
I URGE anyone who deals with these scam artists to hold your ground and call their bluff.

This is a SCAM company and they charged me £5.99 and do not believe what they say over the phone as "No success no charges". They will try to take £9xx from your bank directly. My bank stopped the payment and keep on telling me to pay!!! They put me to court but they did not show up! Don't be threatened to pay anything to them! I will report the "Trade Standard" and hopefully this kind of company will be eliminated!

I have been scammed by clementsagency. These people have charged me over £1000 and they have claimed that they can get me some refund from Lambeth Council from my business rates overpayments , they DID NOTHING,I’m very unsatisfied and very disappointed . I wish I didn’t believe their false claims.

Scam scam scam took over a£1000 off me when I was at home a year ago with covid said only taking £5.99 the bank won’t help you as you’ve authorised them then they take more and more then ignore every call for a year then today they rung up cold calling me all over again forgetting they had already scammed me it’s a joke no protection from bank if they call you block there number and hang up don’t know how they sleep absolute thieves
