Cleaner Ovens Arvostelua 

I booked online in June for 12th July and paid a 50% deposit. However after phoning them on this arranged date to confirm a time, I was told that the cleaner was unavailable. I was not happy, especially when I was told the next available date was 10th August. After requesting my deposit back they I formed me it would take 10 days.

I booked for an oven clean about 2 weeks ago, received a call on Saturday to say cleaner would arrive Monday as booked between 10-12. Paul called at 11 to say he would be 30 mins. He arrived with PPE in place, cleaned my dirty oven, took about 40 minutes and the whole experience was totally hassle free. Would definately recommend to friends and family. Well done Paul!

What an absolute abysmal customer experience from start to finish.

I tried booking online using Amex as advertised as being an accepted payment method, which it isn't.

Then I contacted the number on the website to make my booking, also an issue with MasterCard, but managed to get my booking for the 1st of July placed.

On the 1st of July had no email confirmation of my booking. I contacted Cleaner Ovens using the number on their website, 01527337058

I spoke to Louis who said, unfortunately, this was the marketing, and he could provide no information about my booking, he suggested I call head office on 02036870288

There I again spoke to Louie; I see a pattern emerging!

He apologised but told me my booking had been rearranged for next week.

The problem, I am moving next week, hence needing the clean.

I apologised and said that would not be possible as I won't be here, so can we get that cancelled, please?

Louie assured me that would be no problem. I also asked Louie if I could have some compensation for the loss of earning and a copy of my call recordings and personal data under the terms of GDPR.

Louie needed to confirm this with his M.D, and assured me that he would prioritise this but couldn't tell when I expected to hear from him.

I then spoke to Kernow Oven Clean 01566777518 and arranged an alternative appointment.

Louie then called me back and started by confirming by address and time of booking. I wasn't sure why this was necessary as I had already requested to cancel my booking.

Louie then informed me that due to the terrible service I had received, they had managed to rearrange, and my appointment could go-ahead today.

Great, but I've requested a cancellation for my booking that was rearranged unbeknownst to me to next week, and I have done so within the 48-hour period of your rearranged booking and per your T'S & C's.

I have also booked an alternative appointment as you told me you could not attend today as planned, so I'd just like the cancellation and refund, please.

Unfortunately, Louie told me I was now in breach of the T's & C's because I was not honouring the 48-notice period for cancellations.

Therefore, unfortunately, Cleaner Ovens could not issue a refund.

This could now easily be classed as “Misleading” as I have been given information by Cleaner Ovens and have taken action based on that.

Cleaner ovens have then done an absolute U-Turn and refused to refund me.

This is in breach of:
Under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 it is a banned practice to mislead a consumer into a transactional decision utilising information that is false, untruthful or misleading in the way it was set out. Such practices may amount to a criminal offence which Trading Standards have the power to prosecute for, and which can lead to significant financial penalties.

To top it all off, I then spoke to Keira, who had no idea what Louie or I had been talking about, and after some digging, it seems my booking was never rearranged

Louie had actually been discussing someone else booking, Tanya walker, who Louie told me was my cleaner!

There goes £83 quid!

I must update this to say, after finally speaking to the director a full refund and an apology was issued, should never have progressed to that stage though.

A complaint will be raised with the ICO should I not receive a copy of my data within the legally required period.

Trading standards will also be informed.

Can't believe how good the service, Alex the cleaner arrived in full ppe and left no mess, I hadn't had my oven cleaned in months so it was a big task for him. The booking process was simple and received a call the day before to confirm my appointment time, Alex was a little late due to traffic but he gave me a call to inform me. Can't fault this company 6*

Placed order in May for oven to be cleaned in June and paid £45 deposit. Took day off and late afternoon got a call saying that couldn’t get to me/ Earliest date offered was 17th July which was totally unacceptable. I’m still awaiting a refund!
Made a comment on Facebook and have now been blocked. Cannot recommend this company.

Thank you to Paul for coming and cleaning our oven and hobs! He did an amazing job and it looks brand new! Recommending to my friends!

Scam company do not use take a £30 deposit with no intention of turning up

I booked to have my oven cleaned, the day before they rang me to cancel it. Made an appointment for a month later and guess what the day before they cancelled again. And also they took a deposit and they still have not put it back in my account. Would definitely NOT recommend this company.

They don’t turn up and ask for a deposit. I still haven’t had my deposit back. Don’t touch these cleaners

I'd specifically asked for a pm appointment as I have insomnia and usually sleep in the morning. I had a call just after 11am with him wanting to arrive now. I said OK. Oven was cleaned and looks like new, I have no problem with that. However, it wasn't until after he left that I saw my sink and work surface was covered in black burnt bits. I cleaned it up, turned and saw a big greasy brown mess all down the down frame, cleaned that then went into bathroom and saw 3 big brown stains with black greasy blobs on my white shower curtain which I cleaned but there are now stains. By now I was furious. I rang customer services who said they would have sent someone to clean up and there should not have been any mess left. Was told complaints dept would call me. That was Monday it's now Thursday and I'm still waiting. Won't be using them again and not recommending them. I'd have given given 1 star but the oven is clean

I had my oven cleaned today that Simon did a great job. Excellent job. Highly recommended for anybody..friends and family. Definitely will make another appointment for my oven.👍👏😍

Booked a single oven clean had to phone them on the day I was having the clean as no one had contacted me with my 3 hr time slot was told my booking had been cancelled as they have no cleaner in my area wasn’t happy as I had to take time of work asked for my money back still waiting won’t be recommending these cowboys to anyone

The Oven Cleaners turned up exactly on the time they promised, they cleaned the oven and it now looks so clean (like brand new) I don't want to use it and get it dirty. I would definitely recommend them, they did a great job.

Having been let down for the third time I asked for my deposit and price of two oven liners back, the person on the phone supposedly contacted the payment office and came back saying it would be payed ASAP but to date they still owe me £35.00 so be warned.

Pleasant young man carried out an excellent job on my single oven. Would be happy to use this company again and will recommend friends.

This company have no idea about customer service they got my phone number wrong, left a voicemail on somebody else’s phone! they cancelled two appointments at the last minute. Then when I asked for a discount because I had to book a third oven cleaning and a third morning off work I was given £10 it was absolutely ridiculous!!

I was fortunate enough to take advantage of a half price offer for oven cleaning and I am so glad I did. I have had my oven for over 20 years and never cleaned it but they didn't charge me extra which a lot of other oven cleaning services have. The shelves are a lovely sparkling silver colour and all the gunk has been scraped off. The oven cleaner was a man of few words but was very polite and just got on with the job and tidied up after himself. He also wore PPP gear which is reassuring in this day and age. I will definitely be using them again..
