DO NOT BUY FROM CLAUDE HOME — BAIT AND SWITCH
I strongly recommend avoiding Claude Home. My experience has been extremely frustrating and raises serious concerns about how they represent products on their website.
I purchased a one-of-a-kind vase based on the specific vase pictured in the product listing. After ordering, I noticed that the exact same piece was still being offered for sale, so I contacted them to confirm that my order was actually secured.
Their response only created more confusion. I was told that the listing represents a collection of individually hand-painted vases and that no two are exactly alike — meaning the vase pictured on the website may not be the vase I purchased.
That is a major problem. If you are selling a unique, one-of-a-kind object, customers should be able to reasonably expect that the specific object pictured in the listing is the one they are purchasing. If a different vase may be shipped, that needs to be made crystal clear before the customer places the order.
I immediately asked them to clarify and told them that if the pictured vase was not the one being shipped, I wanted to cancel the order and receive a full refund. They have not responded.
This combination of unclear product representation, failure to clearly disclose what is actually being sold, and then ignoring a customer's emails is unacceptable.
In my view, this feels like a bait-and-switch sales practice: show one specific product, allow the customer to purchase based on what they see, and then explain afterward that they may receive something different.
DO NOT BUY FROM CLAUDE HOME unless you are completely comfortable potentially receiving something other than the product pictured and then having difficulty getting a response from customer service.
I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
