I have been purchasing Clae shoes for 10years now. I like the style of their shoes and the fact that there are no logo on it. The quality is overall good but I experienced big discrepancies, some lasted so much and some not at all. Even if I like the brand and the design I consider it is overpriced without multiple sales. Maybe I will stop buying if they continue raising their price.

Vegan leather Joshua sneakers 1/10
Bought vegan leather Joshua sneakers a year ago. 1) The website advertised they delivered to my location for free - turned out to be not true, a delivery fee was applied at checkout, and they confirmed "outdated website info" via email; 2) the quality of their vegan leather is horrible: the $160 sneaker fell apart after 6 month of urban walks, no repair possible.

I have bought shoes from this company…
I have bought shoes from this company back in 2021, the shoes were okay, nothing fancy, lasted for around a year, however, I was bombarded by marketing emails from Day 1. I asked to unsubscribe, yet I continued to get marketing spam, I escalated with an GDPR warning and the company assured me that my data was deleted. The emails stopped for 4 years, and for the last year I’ve started receiving spam again.
I contacted their privacy officer, nothing, I contacted their customer support, nothing. I reached out to them on LinkedIn, nothing.
This place is mad, this is a huge data breach and they don’t seem to care. I’ve escalated and reported them, hope they get fined

I don't recommend them at all!
I'm from Germany and they sent me the packet from Netherlands. I bought a shoe costing 200 EUR and for sending back I had to pay 20 EUR for posting it. I would never use their products anymore. Its a rip off.

Achat d'une paire faite avec des épluchures de pomme concernant la tige.
Je trouvais ça innovant, mais au bout de quelques mois les tiges se sont fissurées à plusieurs endroits ( plis d'aissance ). Cela n'aurait pas été le cas avec du cuir ...
" La fleur " du cuir synthétique s'est décollée à certains endroits...
Le concept est intéressant mais il faudra apporter plus de résistance à ce matériau
Suite à mon avis précédent, les 2 étoiles concernent uniquement la matière de la paire reçue (modèle “Apple”). Le problème rencontré ne remet pas en cause la qualité de l’ensemble de la gamme en cuir synthétique.
Je tiens surtout à souligner l’excellent service client, très professionnel et réactif, qui m’a proposé un geste commercial et un remplacement. Je les remercie pour leur sérieux ( 5 étoiles)
La maison mérite également d’être saluée pour sa démarche intéressante de mise en avant de nouveaux matériaux écologiques, ce qui est très positif et explique qu’il puisse parfois y avoir des ajustements chez certains partenaires.

We received a size 7 instead of a size…
We received a size 7 instead of a size 12. We had to pay $50 to return them.

Needed to return my order. Return instruction on the Clae website are misleading and also shocked to realise that a) i had to pay; and b) I also had to arrange 'recorded return' myself as opposed to generating a return label with their courier. What has happened to CX?

Return cost of 20€
Shoes are nice but did not fit well. The exchange for a bigger size was easy, nevertheless 20€ return cost for the package is not okay.
This is really surprising and to some extent dissapointing for a pair of shoes that cost 160€. Free return is the clear expectatino here from customer side.
