150eur penalty for speeding from Citybee without any proper warning or possibility to discuss, and a debt collector service later +38eur

Uninstalled due to registration issues. According to their systems, the document appears corrupted. Unfortunately, the document is perfect, and I'm flying across Europe with it. Support, unable to solve the issue, does nothing due to internal policy's.

Poor service and charges not according the reality.

I used CityBee many times before, mostly in Vilnius. Recently, they have changed their policies, and now they claim that due to “internal policy” I’m not allowed to use my drivers license from Brazil, because they claim not to have the technical capability to verify my license, for the simple fact it isn’t made of plastic.

The reality is that there are citizens of countries that can use Citybee which use paper licenses. And if they cannot verify International drivers licenses either, then I sincerely question how can they verify licenses from countries such as Belarus, Russia and Egypt, and be assured of their security but not my license from Brazil.

I feel like this is a highly discriminatory policy. If the government allows me to use my license here, why should citybee block me from using it? It’s a deeply unfair and upsetting experience if only those “chosen” by Citybee can use the service.

For what is worth, at least their costumer support is knowledgeable and friendly.

You would think that it this is hassle free but it seems like a lot of hassle to get the correct invoices at the end of the rental period.
Would be much better if you could check this from your mybee page.
Also i got 1 parking ticket and they directly threatened me with inkasso, however i am already waiting 3 weeks for the refund they owe me.
Sometimes they have a person dealing with the emails who is very on point and then another time you get someone who could not care less.

Very weird company. They send a lot of email spam promoting their company service, but when I decided to try, they rejected my US driving license, saying that there is another license with the same number. I spoke to the operator; she said that someone would contact me, but no one called and no email was sent, and my DL is still rejected. After such weird service, I think I would not try this company again

I hired a car for one day and it was all perfect. App very easy to use. Instructions were clear. Made my choice on the app, checked the car out, marked up the damages that weren't marked on the car already. I booked a prepaid package no issues with the car at all, clean and tidy, everything was working. Super pleased. Will use again.

slow app, crashes all the time, driver license verification fails

After using Citybee cars for several years, the company suddenly invalidated my account saying I need to renew my driving license. Yet my license is valid to 2032. It appears they had stopped accepting older-type licenses which were issued before the EU standard. This is against international agreements, the authorities confirmed that. My license has always been accepted by every car rental in the world that I have used, from Europe to the U.S.
Trying to sort this out, Citybee's service was very slow - it took more than 18 hours to get a decision, which then was still negative - they would not budge!

Comfortable and easy to use! Useful packages for more days, refuelling paid by citybee. Possibility to travel across cities and Lettony and Estony. Costumer service incredible, kind and prepared, answer very fast!!

Had a minor accident with the citybee car (bruised the side of a car, almost noticable). Told citybee about this, they sent me a check with a huge amount of car repair works that are not even connected to the accident. Random other parts repair and so on. I dont recommend citybee, it has been a very unpleasant experience. Please take a taxi or smth, but dont use citybee.

Tricky and shady, they charge extra for starting trip and suprise fees to finish reservation. They offer discount for refuelling car, but you need to beg it from support. You cannot use discount voucher for the same trip.

My recent experience resolving a registration issue went well and I have always found using their service to be reliable and easy.

City Bee would not let me rent a car because there was no class on my Indiana License and they said it wasn’t valid to drive their cars. Also customer service is rude and mean if you are English speaking. Terrible experience.

Worst customer service avoid this rental company.

They are not flexible at all. I had a plan for 7 days and then wanted to cancel it or change it, they said they can refund money and then changed their mind, I could not get my money back and they did not suggest any other options. Also, the car was very dirty.
