Vehicle had cosmetic issues which were only discovered after 10 days delivery date and only On close inspection!! This consisted of scratches on passenger door. Cinch did not want to know despite photographs being provided. Poor inspection process and customer service - beware!!

The driver was really nice but sadly that was the end of my experience.

The car was filthy and the interior was stained. A thick layer of tacky residue covered the car, with dust and grime caked in. The spare key didn’t work and there was no service history as advertised.
Clutch is not right and potentially on its way out. Car was meant to be transported from derby to Corby and it wasn’t so racked up miles before I received it.

Miss sold part exchange. Accepted the part exchanged vehicle with a declared engine fault. Upon home delivery of new car (having paid £200) they refused to complete the sale.

It was agreed to drive the car 2 hours to Bristol to complete the exchange at an agreed time. Turned up only to find the car was not on site. Returned later in the day to complete.

Complaint raised with local branch (Derby), limited response until sale completed. Complaint raised centrally no response.

I paid £200 for home delivery and instead incurred additional cost to deliver the car to them! Also had to reinsure my my car to make the journey costing a further £30.

There was an offer of financial settlement with however no communication since the car was collected.

The first time I went to look at, and purchase a car, I was refused finance because I didn’t have photo identification. I wasn’t informed that I would need photo ID, and the car I was going to buy was sold by the time I got the finances arranged elsewhere. The second car I looked at was fine, and I paid for it via external financing, but the service history’ was not as good as I had expected it to be and I have no idea what it’s actually had done before I bought it and I was very tempted to send it back and get my money back. However, up to now there’s no problem with it, so I have kept it. Hopefully I won’t regret that decision.

I recently purchased a Tesla through Cinch and unfortunately the collection experience was extremely disappointing.

When I arrived to collect the car, it was dirty and had several defects that I had been assured would be addressed before handover. These included a noticeable scratch across a door, deeper scratches, and a dent on the wheel arch. I raised these issues immediately but there was nobody on site with the authority to resolve them, and I was told everything had to be handled over the phone.

The handover process itself was frustrating. I arrived at around 3:30pm and didn’t leave until after 6:15pm due to an administrative error. Despite having already paid in full, staff believed I was part-exchanging a vehicle. This appeared to be another example of poor communication between departments and resulted in a lengthy delay while various teams tried to work out what had gone wrong.

To make matters worse, I drove away in a Tesla that was still linked to the previous owner’s Tesla account. This meant I couldn’t set up the Tesla app, use my phone as a key, or add payment details for Supercharging. The handover specialist wasn’t able to advise on how to fix this. The Tesla USB drive for Sentry Mode and dashcam recording was also missing.

The car itself drives well, and the phone staff I spoke with were polite throughout. However, politeness doesn’t make up for poor preparation, poor communication, and a handover process that left me feeling like I had to solve multiple problems myself after already paying for the vehicle.

Overall, this was far from the smooth, hassle-free experience that Cinch advertises, and I expected significantly better.

Efficient.

One week into having my new car and it’s been great. The customer service I received on the phone helping me find the right vehicle and helping me go through with the purchase made it smooth and easy, on day delivery couldn’t have been any easier with plenty of notice when it would be arriving and the handover being smooth as well. The guys I was dealing with on the phone and in person delivering was very nice and honest with everything.

Fantastic service.
I test drove various MG HS locally but none had exactly all the things that I wanted in one car. Looked on lots of sites but Cinch had what I wanted. I did phone them to talk over everything before parting with my money and then did the very smooth booking and was well informed right up until car was delivered. My car is perfect and so was the whole process with Cinch and will definately use them again.

The staffs were friendly and helpful, the entire process went smoothly.

Very responsive, friendly and efficient. The car I wanted was originally reserved, but then released. Your agent let me know ASAP and I bought it. They were very polite when each car I enquired about was sold and basically, the were fabulous ☺️ The delivery was brilliant and very insightful x

After being messed about by Carsa, I got a valuation for my part exchange with Cinch. It seemed reasonable and I decided to give them a try.
Very glad I did. Really pleasant experience and no trying to tyre kick when I got there. Dealt with Laz, who was very pleasant and efficient. Highly recommended.

Avoid if you dont want to be messed about and if there's a problem far too much time to get money back from them.

Avoid at all costs !!
