cinch - Corby Warehouse Arvostelua 

I was pushed into a home delivery when I explained to the sales staff that I lived in Corby so there was no need for a home delivery. They claimed that as it was classed as “A Market Shop” Car & it was located at another branch so it wouldn’t reach the Corby Hib. Unfortunately for the team their own app’ proved them wrong as it flagged up that my car had reached the Hub as was being prepped for delivery.
After a lot of discussions they eventually agreed I could collect it from the Corby store. However, I had to fight to get my £225 home delivery charge refunded.
It was then at the handover stage their deception really unraveled - the car had not been prepped at all. The car was not as the sales person had described, seats were not fully electric as she had stated. The team member doing the handover discovered parts of the seat parts were laying on the floor of the car, loose seat fittings and to top it all off he went to put his hand in the cup holder to retrieve the locking wheel nut only to be met an open packet of Stanley Knife Blades!

It’s clear Cinch does not do a full check of the car - either mechanical or otherwise, nor was the car valeted.

To make matters even worse, once you begin the process of the refund, you have to wait to get your money back and if you’ve taxed the car already, hold tight as you’ll have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get your money back from the DVLA.
Cinch has left me out of pocket and have refused to do anything about it!

Shocking service! Buying from Cinch is definitely NOT a Cinch!

A really easy transaction right from the initial enquiry, through to booking a test drive and completing the purchase. Lucy and her manager Gary dealt with us courteously and answered any questions we had so have no hesitation in recommending Cinch to any future car buyers.

Seamless experience, couple of niggles with the car but to be fair was priced appropriately. Staff super friendly and process was very efficient.

Yeah cinch, provided a me with a low mileage 22 plate kia Stonic, for a fair price.

The car has proven to be reliable, the battery which Cinch resolved under their Cinch warranty.

Only other minor issues were the mileage was slightly higher then advertised, and there was a couple of extra scratches but majority were documented.

So overall great car.

James wallace was more than just helpful, he made me feel at ease when dropping off my new car,going through everything I needed to know /questions or if needed further support which direction to head to. He was very helpful and made time didnt feel like he was in any rush. Thankyou for the support today james :)

The delivery driver was fantastic, and the car is still within its warranty. I had a few concerns, but they were addressed quickly, with two fitters arranged to come out and assess and repair the car. They were both friendly and provided fantastic service.
The tyre and valve are being checked tomorrow at a local garage, which is very convenient for me. So far, the service has been excellent. Thank you!

Really positive experience with Cinch, from booking the test drive, through getting a part exchange price to collecting our new car! Really straightforward and hassle-free!

Waited over 3 hrs for delivery of the car. Underfloor tray missing. Took them 2 hrs to make decision whether they will fit or not.
Poor buying experience from Cinch. Wasted my morning where I took time off work.
Won't buy from Cinch again!

The car has come with 1 working full beam, 1 working brake light, and the bonnet latch sensor keeps telling me my bonnet is open

Car purchase and delivery was straightforward with cinch, would recommend.

Beware this company wants you to 'buy before you try' cos they are an online retailer, so want you to purchase and make your mind up within the 14 day cooling off period.

I booked a viewing at Corby but the sales agent was very abrupt and stated 'they sell 3000 cars, so don't know each model, all details are online'. So all questions we were referred to the advert. Very impersonal. Long winded sales process where you are waiting around. However, bought because of the 14 day money back guarantee

Throughout the entre process and even after, Cinch has been very friendly and accomodating. I could not recommmend Cinch enough.

Lucy was fab from start to end, fom initial chats on the phone about the car, to the test drive and sale. Car was fab and available to drive away same day, and Lucy was friendly helpful and a good Giggle. 👍

Arrived at the Corby site for a 1pm appointment,greeted by a friendly staff member who directed us to the reception desk. Our sales adviser was Max and whilst we were waiting for our allocated time another member of staff invited us to go and look around the car we were interested in. Max explained everything in detail and took us for a good test drive with me driving.My wife and I were absolutely delighted with our purchase and Max helped us every step of the way.

I bought a car online and had a delivery confirmed for 16/07/26. I received a phone call the day before that it would not be able to be delivered as it has “missed the truck”.

They advised the earliest delivery would be 22/07/26 despite me already telling them that is too late as we were using the car for a road trip and leaving on that same date and it would need to be delivered earlier.
They advised it cannot be delivered earlier and asked if I would be able to collect instead. It is a 3 hour train journey away but I confirmed if I could have the delivery fee refunded I would reluctantly agree to collect it. They confirmed my collection slot at Corby as 1-2pm 18/07/26.

I arrived 12.50pm. After 1 hour and 30 minutes waiting I was told the car is not at Corby and instead it is at Camberley.
I showed the emails confirming it should be at Corby as originally advised. The staff did not know what to do and said they could only apologise and I should call customer services… which is not open until Monday 20/07/26.

I have paid £14,200 in full for a car that was supposed to be delivered… instead after annoyingly agreeing to collect it, leaving home 9.45am and finally returning home at 6pm via train without the car I paid for, to stay I am upset is a *slight* understatement.

I have emailed customer services asking for a full refund and a reimbursement of my £250 train tickets so I can buy a car elsewhere for our road trip. I await their response and I won’t use Cinch again.
