Chococo Arvostelua 

I ordered some Easter treats a few weeks ago and selected them for delivery this week as I knew we wouldn’t be able to hold out! They arrived a day early (great!) and were beautifully wrapped and absolutely DELICIOUS. Some of the best chocolate we have had in a long time. Would recommend.

Bought chocolates a few times as gifts but, from discreet later enquiries, the response overall has been "rather average" - so disappointing. I'll be going back to my (short and getting shorter) list of tried & trusted makers.

Ordered 4 items and unfortunately the large easter egg arrived damaged. Raised the concern via email and a replacement was sent out immediately and arrived 2 days later which was great.

Possibly my new favourite chocolate! Great service and product will definitely be repurchasing.

Not great to substitute out the specifically valentine-themed chocolate in a valentine's box (when you make them yourself, it seems fair enough to make enough to fulfil the orders to which you've committed). No notification of this as a courtesy, either in the delivery or via email. Emailed to say I wasn't pleased, and nothing back after more than a week. Other than an instant auto-reply to say 'bear with us as we're a small team'. If you're a company that cares then that seems a poor excuse and clearly responding isn't a priority. Their chocolates taste nice but aren't cheap, and as these guys don't seem to be bothered about customer service, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

I have ordered from Chococo a few times now, normally for an occasion such as Christmas, Easter. I am always impressed with the chocolates and they have always been delivered quickly. I like the sea salted caramels and the milk chocolate.

Those who said that the chocolates lack flavour may have eaten them straight out of the fridge. I always leave mine at room temperature for about half an hour, and the flavours are amazing.

Bought these chocolates as a treat for Christmas, really excited to try them after reading 'The Independent rate our Cascade of 50 chocolates their 'Best Buy' in their review of the best luxury chocolate boxes' just shows they have no idea of what tastes good.

I'm no chocolate expert, the only chocolates I've had that have won awards are monty bojangles and they're delicious, so expensive lesson learned, you can't always trust the awards and reviews.

I agree with the other recent reviewer. I got the Christmas box of chocolate. The menu was huge but not specific to the chocolates in the box and they were difficult to identify. Mostly dark chocolate, luckily I like dark chocolate. However the descriptions didn’t match the eating. The flavours were pretty nondescript, very similar. Overall very disappointing. I thought I was going to be impressed considering how expensive they were. I wouldn’t buy again.

Very expensive box of chocolate in a modest packaging. The contents guide doesn't match what's in the box. I understand a concept of "hand made" and "variation in artistic outcome", but for the price it should be more professionally packed.

RE the flavours - quite disappointing. There has been made an effort to impress with difference, and unexpected combinations of flavours. But they don't work with each other, and with background chocolate.

Last year I turned to Eponine for a vegan calendar, which was lovely but very pricey. Ordered the Vegan advent chocolates from Chococo this year, very close to the 1st of December, and was not disappointed! The boxes came on time, which was great considering how busy they must have been. All the chocolates were delicious (gosh the Tawny Port and Fig is really special). I've loved supporting a local small business, thank you for a lovely product!

I was just about to buy some chocolates for my family and thought I’d read the reviews. You must as a company at least respond to the bad comments. I’ve changed my mind now, having read some awful reviews.

Without doubt the best vegan chocolate I’ve tasted. An amazing treat!

I went to Chococo, Swanage in August, 2020 to make use of the Eat Out To Help Out scheme, because without the 50% discount, this store would be too overpriced.
I got a milkshake and a brownie. The milkshake was OK, i would have preferred it to be a bit thicker, but nonetheless it was tasty. The brownie however was very rich and sickly, it wasn't for me. The sauce had a very strong after taste.

The restaurant/cafe itself was nice, the staff were friendly and the environment was peaceful, clean and spacious (in a good way).

Where do i start, absolutely disgusting service.
they use royal mail to deliver the chocolates, they didn't leave a red card so talked to head office about the issue, the person i talked to was disgraceful, talking about how it's not their problem and that this isn't even their job to deal with matters like this.
i explained that without a red card my girlfriend cannot go and collect it was a valentines gift. refusing a refund and after arguing managed to come to a lackluster agreement by this i mean that she said valentines is over and that if the package is returned they will refund me (i had to argue as they didn't want to refund). NO response to emails NO customer care. THE £10 CHOCOLATE LOBSTER WAS BROKEN WHEN RECEIVED!!! and you know what? i don't even want to call them about it because they won't care!!! £30+ on chocolates ruined on delivery. abysmal customer service. i will ensure everyone knows how bad this company is!!!

The Vegan Chocolates are a complete let down, the worst we have had and they claim to be creating products for 16 years. Emailed to let them know that what we received was very disappointing and they agreed that some of our complaints had now been looked into and changed. Left completely Unsatisfied with the product, their solution to the complaint was to suggest we go and buy more of their new range.

cakes etc are not something I hanker after but I was really impressed by the produce , nice staff too.

Fantastic service for online order. Friendly helpful staff and a real feeling they actually care about customers. On top of all that, the chocolates are absolutely delicious. Can not recommend highly enough.

Just received my 1st box so it is early days. Eaten 5 chocolates so far. Very tasty. The rest look equally appetising. I would rate these higher than Thorntons for taste and look. Highly recommended.

Very expensive packaging yet the contents guide doesn't match what's in the box so there's no way of knowing what you're biting in to. With the extreme range of flavours that's really bad and shows a lack of professionalism behind the company. Also quite unimpressed by the flavours considering the cost of them. Can't please everyone with food but we really are not foodies with high expectations.
Finally they also choose to use a review platform on their website which i personally do not trust.
