Do not use this store unless you’re trying on in person. I would give 0 if possible. I ordered a dress for an event and paid extra for express shipping, it didn’t arrive in time for me to use it. I returned it the next day which was difficult enough to be permitted to do they’re so tricky to navigate! However two weeks later when I asked again for my refund since the time expected had passed, they say there was an issue with their finance department. Two months later I have sent 12 emails requesting a refund and all they keep telling me is I must wait to hear from them… Shocking setup. I have given 14 days in writing formally today and if the refund doesn’t materialise then I’ll make a claim. Seriously poor - I would tell anyone do not use this store.

I have not been refunded by Chi Chi London as promised. I cant get through to anyone, no phone number. I think I’ve been fraudulently charged despite returning items. Next step is to contact the police. Avoid at all costs

I was returning a dress they told me there were an issue with there returning label so I had to pay to return it but it got lost and they said they issued my refund so few days later I text again and they said there refund system was down!! As anyone ever had a problem with them I feel like ive been getting tue rin around..

Wedding and the returns portal isn’t accepting the order numbers. I have tried emailing them with no reply. Company is a complete scam !!!!! Do not order through them.

Had a weird experience placed an order for a couple of dresses for a wedding! After week and a half/2 weeks they hadn't even been dispatched! But on emailing them, they didn't reply, but i'd asked them to cancel the order and refund and they did! So overall not a bad experience just strange!

Do not order from this company. The returns portal does not work and they don’t reply to any emails. The phone number doesn’t work either. Ordered 4 dresses to try, over £200. One of them was the wrong dress. Needing to get a refund but can’t even get a returns label. I’m going to have to take further action. The only company I have ever had any issues with when it comes to returning items. It’s just disgusting, they should not be allowed to be in business.

Rubbish refund process. They keep your money for as long as possible and unless you chase, you will not get your money back.

I've been a loyal customer to chi chi for years, getting many wedding guest dresses. However I needed a refund for the first time ever with a pair of shoes. This company should be shut down they are absolutely awful. I placed an order on Coast website and did not realise the dress was from Chi Chi clothing I’ve had issues with them before. When I tried to return the item it was not coming up on Coast’s portal I was then referred to Debenhams who said I needed to post the item back to Chi Chi clothing they gave me the address and I had to pay the postage they also said £1.99 would be deducted from my return not sure why. I sent the dress back at the beginning of March and have heard nothing. I have emailed numerous times with no response. I will not order from Debenhams, Coast Chi Chi or none of these brands that come under this banner again. I am now going to go through PayPal to see if I can get refunded this way. Absolutely disgusting service.

Avoid at all costs. 6 weeks and I’m still waiting for my refund. All they can say is they are having technical issue. Scam company do not use. Only gave 1 star as they don’t have zero. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I have been trying to return a dress purchased on 21 February 2026. The return portal is unable to locate my order. I have provided the correct order number and my postcode. I have emailed them 7 times to request a return label so l can return the item and get a refund for what is a fairly expensive dress. So far all to no avail.

Slow customer service, returns portal doesnt work. Still waiting for refund over 3 weeks since they received my returns parcel. Little to no response to emails and I am still waiting for my refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have ordered a dress which is too big. I am unable to return it as the return portal is not working. The contact number listed on their website is not active and despite having sent an email to the customer service email address provided, I have not revised a response. I would have ordered the size below, if I was able to rerun this one but having had such an awful experience I will not be ordering from this company again

Im unable to complete my refund online as the website says there's an error. I have emailed customer services and still awaiting a reply. Its frustrating as there is no contact number and refund procedure is not straightforward.

Impossible to return items. They dont reply to emails and online return form doesn't work.

I ordered a pair of blue satin heels for a event and paid next day delivery. They took my money and I still haven't received them yet they were ordered last week . They have only responded to one email and now it's radio silence.

Awful experience. I would not give them even one star. They received the return and i have proofed it, still they haven't refunded me. They gave me the impression of being a scam. Just to make money.

Ordered 2 dresses as needed different sizes. I am still in discussion via email due to not being able to return the item and being told I need to pay for the return upfront although the postcode given cannot be identified on Royal Mail. And the issue is with them not being able to provide a returns label or even trying to!
Very strange as the items are lovely but the customer service is awful and the whole thing is strange and appears dodgey!
