Ieri sera abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza davvero speciale grazie allo chef Fabio, che ha cucinato a casa di mia mamma.
I piatti di pesce erano semplicemente deliziosi, ricercati ma mai eccessivi, realizzati con materie prime eccellenti che si sentivano al primo assaggio.
Fabio, con il suo modo di fare affabile, discreto e genuinamente simpatico, ha saputo creare un’atmosfera rilassata e piacevole, facendoci sentire coccolati dall’inizio alla fine.
Una cena che non è stata solo buon cibo, ma un vero momento di condivisione e piacere.
Un’esperienza che porteremo con noi e che consigliamo con il cuore.

Mi sono rivolta a questa azienda convinta di avere una garanzia sulla riuscita della cena e invece è stato l'esatto contrario. Non fanno altro che procurarti il contatto di uno chef che comunque lavora a modo suo e che nel mio caso la sera prima della cena (preciso che era il 31 dicembre quindi non una sera qualunque!), ha minacciato di non venire più. Non voglio dilungarmi sulle varie problematiche che ci sono state, ma specifico che lo chef ha peccato tantissimo nei tempi della cena e nell'organizzazione del suo maitre e del suo lavapiatti, costringendo me e i miei familiari a subentrare in alcune faccende che non sarebbero dovute essere di nostra competenza visto che avevo pagato per avere un servizio di alto livello e per godermi la serata senza dovermi preoccupare di nulla. La delusione è stata forte e quindi sconsiglio vivamente di rivolgersi a loro per una cena in una casa privata.
Con sincerità però ammetto che le pietanze sono state tutte ottime.

The experience with Chef On Demand is highly dependent on the chef you are assigned. If you are lucky and get a very skilled chef, the evening can be enjoyable. Unfortunately, in my case, the experience itself did not fully meet my expectations.

I was hoping for a cozy, premium dinner with my family, but the food quality and overall organization felt below what I would expect from a service positioned as a “premium” private chef experience. While the platform works with a large number of chefs across Italy, this can sometimes make the level of consistency difficult to guarantee.

That said, I do want to highlight the customer service. After sharing my feedback, the team handled the situation professionally and seriously. They offered a full refund along with a 30% discount on a future experience, showing genuine attention to customer care and a willingness to take responsibility. This approach was appreciated and reflects a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Because of how well the situation was managed, I am willing to try the service again, as it may simply be that I was unlucky with this particular experience.

Chef Roberta put together a dinner for 10 for us in Florence and it was fabulous! The food was delicious. Roberta was so gracious and we had zero responsibility other than to enjoy. Perfecto!

Our experience with Chef Daniele and Chef on Demand was incredible, from start to finish. They were accommodating and commutative in the scheduling process, worked with us to create the perfect menu, and came prepared on the night of the event with assistants and a drink specialist. Chef Daniele cooked an amazing meal, and it was truly some of the best food we had during our entire stay in Rome. The preparation of the food was beautiful, and they were timely, professional and kind. They came prepared and cleaned everything. We have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience, Chef Daniele and the food. Thank you!

Poor organisation and poor communication by Giulia. Possible attempt to rip you off over festive season.
We got a quote for a private chef over the Christmas period. The quote should be valid for 7 days 16th-22nd Nov 2025. While I had a few queries during this time, specifically mentioning that I intend to book, at no point did Giulia mentioned a payment was needed to secure the booking or we would lose the chef.
On 22nd Nov, I was told by Giulia that the original quote had expired and the new quote was AED10,000 higher! Needless to say, we decided to go with another company. What a disappointment!
