Complaint of poor communication of flight change
Dear Sir/Madam: On April 26th I booked a flight from Comox BC to Windsor Ontario for July 1st with return on July 10th. I took the flight and was not properly informed of the change to the return flight to July 9th, 2026. As I understood it my return flight was on July 10th. When I spoke to the complaint department I was told there was an email sent to me in May regarding the change and that they could not get a hold of me. I may not have seen the email but the subsequent emails I received as provided below still had the return date July 10th. I was not aware of the change to July 9th as there was no service from Windsor on July 10th. All the subsequent emails were marked return July 10th. Had my husband not tried to find the flight on July 10th I would have missed the July 9th flight back and been stuck rebooking and paying for a different return flight. If there had been an email sent and I didn’t confirm it why was no further emails sent. Why were all further emails marked July 10th? Why was I not sent an email 24 hours in advance from the airline on July 8th? What does ‘your flight has been booked, now complete your trip’ on the email mean? I took it to mean that there was a request from the company to further book hotels etc.
I will be looking into why WestJet did not send me the 24 hour advance notice to check in. I am not pleased that I almost missed my return flight and had to scramble to get to the airport on July 9th. It would have been extremely inconvenient both in terms of having to unexpectedly stay longer and to rebook and pay again. This is unacceptable and I will not be booking with this company again. We would like to inform you that schedule changes and flight delays are unfortunately a common occurrence in air travel, and they are typically outside the control of travel agencies like ours. These changes can happen for a variety of reasons, including operational adjustments by the airline, aircraft changes, or routing updates. Upon checking the schedule changes history, we wish to inform you that airline made changes after May 17, 2026 while the email screenshot you have shared with us is prior 17th of May. Your email alert for said travel date (10th of July, 2026) was as of June 10, 2026 during which no changes were made. Moreover, we note that date change was not amended at our end. As per the ticket PNR history, date was changed with the airline directly to 9th of July, 2026. In such cases, it is advisable to contact the airline directly. At this moment, flights are showing as flown. We understand it was disappointing, but we assure you this is not the quality of service we offer to our customers. Our goal is to provide a consistently reliable and Exemplary level of customer service. We apologize if our service did not meet your Expectations and appreciate you taking time to share your concerns. We appreciate your business and thank you for Choosing Cheapoair.

I do not recommend buying flight…
I do not recommend buying flight tickets here. Even after buying insurance I couldn't change my flight. also to check-in the flight they asking more money

Insurance is or medical emergencies, lost bags, delayed flights, death and claims must be filed directly with the provider and we do include the PDF coverage and benefits in your email. It is not for a voluntary change in plans or cancellation of a non refundable / non changeable ticket.
