Awful awful…. Whats point of 5 if nothing streams on it. A few good shows but impossible to watch.

Watching a two hour program the app crashed 12 times, that's once for every 10 minutes. There's no resume watching option, so you have to find the program again, watch the adds, fast forward to wherever you were, watch the adds again and then resume watching, until it crashes again.
An absolutely unbelievable experience. The program wasn't that great, so I doubt that I'll be back again anytime soon.
Is it deliberately this appalling?

The amount of Ads on My5 is absolutely crazy.
We all know they're pathetic excuse if bringing in revenue,but they'd probably have a lit more viewers if there were a lot less Ads .it totally puts me off watching it, which is a pity as there's quite a lot of good content .

Not good at football, can't start from beginning of a match when a live match has started.

Invest with your cloud provider, pathetic streaming service!

And to be honest don’t know why I am bothering because my channel 5 experience was not the best ..as other reviews state

5select claims you can view DALGLIESH on 5 streaming but it is not, have searched several times but to no avail.

An appalling and frustrating experience trying to stream a series on 5. Constant buffering and then cutting out and going back to the home, the only thing that was constant and without problems were the excessive amount on commercials, Channel 5 should have their license taken away.

There’s some good content on the catch up service, but much I enjoy watching a rotating gear wheel, it does get a tad tedious after a few minutes, especially when it’s clear that no matter how long you wait, it’s going to get you nowhere. Surely in these days where we have have fantastic streaming services like Netflix, they could hire some decent engineers and fix it. I won’t hold my breath.

Streaming service just a vehicle for adverts. Pretty much what previous reviewers have said. Fortunately I’ve found what I want to watch on Prime and although I had to pay for it the service is infinitely better.

Dreadful Channel, like so many I think there are far too many commercials and it keeps buffering. A shame as it makes viewing very frustrating and makes one think twice about viewing anything on Channel 5

Shockingly bad. Constant error messages on tv stating 'RK-1008' not connected to Internet. Internet is fine, signal strong, all other channels working. Unplugged tv, restarted router, uninstalled app, reinstalled app, updated all software and still receiving same error 😡 I note that channel 5 haven't responded to any of the dismal reviews. Not everybody can be wrong so what on earth is going wrong channel 5??

Does not work. Fails to start and send you back to the start of the advers…..different ones each time!

Some amazing shows. I’m currently working my way through Nashville. However it’s soul destroying with the amount of adverts and no option to pay to opt out, so held hostage to the endless advertising and it’s the same thing over and over again. Other channels when ads are on I make the screen tiny and do something else while I wait but you can’t do this with the 5 app, full screen or no screen. Sort yourselves out 5!

In the app we pressed an episode to watch "a grand day out" it kept taking us to the wrong episode after we rebooted the full app. Useless!

A shocking app. Play it on android stick and the picture is poor, with slow reaction time and useless adverts. Play it through Sky and it freezes after every non-relevent advert, so that you have to reverse out of it and go back in and watch the ads again. Terrible

I have been hooked on the good wife programme and thoroughly enjoying it, I just wish it was on a different channel. I started watching through my TV until I was kicked off informing me I was using a VPN but had let me watch two full series. I thought ok so I started to watch on my phone and all was good until once again there is something wrong. Does 5 even care about viewers? I am glad we don't pay a licence fee. What's the point tell us to watch or stream when it doesn't work.

Constant adverts same adverts some woman coming on saying 'I love Harley, but he does do my head in' how long will this go on for - sure I've been seeing this for over 4 months now constantly?
