Challenges Abroad Arvostelua 

My trip to Panama in America was a once in a lifetime opportunity. It was full of fun and did have its challenges, however the overall experience was amazing and did change aspects of my life. Being exposed to something outside of my comfort zone has really given me character development and has made me a more confident person as I’ve come back to my home.At first I did have really bad anxiety about everything but challenges abroad had made it so easy for us. If you’re thinking about going on a trip with challenges abroad, I do 100% recommend!

It was a fun experience overall. The GMPIs were lovely and extremely helpful. All the activities we did were enjoyable. However, the experience was a bit stressful due to issues with one of the accommodations where we had bed bugs and fleas in the beds where we had to find a new place to stay suddenly as we couldn't sleep there.

Everyone is great to work with and my skills have been developed more than I thought they would be I'd recommend this programme to anyone I'd love to work with children adults and even do more for the environment hopefully in the future as even though it was hot and sometimes really difficult we all pushed through and did an amazing job such a great community to be in.

My experience was great! Accommodation, food, daily activities - all were amazing! I did enjoy flexibility and open minded environment. Also, cultural diversity and integrity was great. Thanks for this amazing opportunity to be part of community.

My trip to Cambodia was truly a life changing experience. To be given this amazing opportunity was something i never thought was possible. Spending these 2 weeks in Cambodia with Challanges Abroad helped me massively, not only to develop as a person, but to keep open-minded to anything that comes my way. Throughout the course of the two weeks in Cambodia, we taught primary school children, visited many temples and made loads of amazing memories in the hub. It’s a trip i will always remember and tell people about in the future. The people you meet and the experiences you have while away will stay with you forever and you will start seeing the effects in your everyday life. The staff at the hub were so amazing and made us all feel like family. Definitely an opportunity to do atleast once in your lifetime!!

I had an amazing experience, the staff was lovely, the food was very nice and the accommodation was clean and spacious.
Loved every minute spending time with the children, going to different places such as the museum, the market and the cultural heritage centre. I have gained so many skills such as leadership, confidence, teamwork and social skills. I would love to do it again.

Having this experience of a lifetime as helped me become a better citizen. Being able to gain confidence in India whilst travelling to see the Taj Mahal and then travelling to the airport to get to Palampur to volunteer in a public school to help the children with their conversarion english and hygiene and physical activity has helped me learn that not all families are as lucky as me. Having thid opportunity of a lifetime as helped me understand the Indian culture has helped me understand the different culture and be able to gsin confidence of being a better Global Citizen

The part of the experience I really enjoyed was the afternoon activities we did after do the projects with the children in the local school.

A great and new opportunity to experience, something I have never done before. India was the location I visited and I wouldn’t hesitate to go again, the culture and teaching the kids was a wonderful experience!

In tanzania I experienced so many new things, such as being in a place that has a completely different culture as what I do. This was such an amazing trip to be chosen for. I managed to change the lives of some children in two different school, in thr long run. We also got the chance to go for a 2 day trip to the Safari and the Ngorangora Crater, we saw some amazing sites there. The whole experience was amazing and I would love to do it again while being in college.

this experience was one of the best experiences of my life! the company was great and very organised and used every moment to ensure i got the most out of my trip!!

The experience in itself was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The accommodation was incredible, the hosts were lovely, the school experience was surreal, the food was lovely, the views around where was based were incredible and the activities we got to take part in were all so good. I would definitely do the 2.5 weeks all over again if I had the chance to.

Being able to teach young people with English was a challenge however one of the most rewarding challenges as I was able to give a different view in learning and made it more exciting to my group and the children! I would definitely do this again!

My experience was made great by the overwhelming support of the staff who went out of their way of providing the best experiences possible. The transition into the Peruvian culture was made so smooth thanks to their comforting hands that fed us delicious food and took us under their care. All in all they provided an unforgettable adventure.

It was very good, everyone was very friendly there, I really enjoyed my time in Korea. We went to so many amazing places. This trip was very beautiful and I had a great time.

A good experience which allowed for a greater understanding of diverse cultures

Absolutely unforgettable experience. Everything was planned out so well, I did things I never taught I’d do and saw things I never taught I’d see. I’m so grateful I took this opportunity. If you’re considering it then this is your sign to go for it.

Teaching the school kids then saying bye when we weren’t gonna go there again made me feel emotional and acknowledge how all of us made an imapact, the company is doing really well in supporting children in schools that don’t have the best of technology, equipment, etc. experiencing a completely different culture compared to England.
