I regret to say that my experience with the director of Cator Wells has been deeply disappointing and financially damaging. He personally introduced me to the 79th Group and strongly encouraged me to invest significant sums of money. The opportunity was presented as trustworthy and secure, with repeated assurances of its legitimacy.
Now that the 79th Group is under investigation for fraud, the director has gone completely silent. Despite numerous calls, texts, and emails, I have received no response whatsoever. His complete lack of accountability and refusal to communicate during such a critical time is both unprofessional and unacceptable.
This experience casts serious doubt on his integrity, and I feel both misled and abandoned. It’s important that others are made aware. I would strongly caution anyone against doing business with him

For clarity, Cator Wells Finance has never arranged finance for, nor held any commercial relationship with, the 79th Group.
The introduction referenced was made by Daniel during his time at a previous firm. It was a good-faith referral based on the information available at that time. He has had no involvement in the company’s operations, management, or decision-making.
As a broker, our role is to arrange finance based on the information provided at the time of application. We do not manage or monitor the conduct of any borrower, lender, or third party after funds have been released. In cases involving default or allegations of fraud, it would not be appropriate—or within our remit—to provide updates or advice, as we are not a party to the business or its financial performance.
While this situation is deeply regrettable, it is entirely separate from the services provided by Cator Wells Finance.
We remain committed to operating with transparency, integrity, and professionalism, and we always encourage clients to carry out their own due diligence and seek independent legal and financial advice when entering into any funding arrangement.
