Diese Seite gehört gesperrt und verboten! Wir haben ein Hotel über diese Seite gebucht (Google Empfehlung) eine Bestätigung bekommen und auch direkte Zahlung gemacht. Danach hieß es: technische Fehler, falsche Hotel Bestätigung etc. Haben uns ein ganz anderes Hotel als Buchung angeboten. Andere Kategorie, anderer Standpunkt. Absolute Frechheit.

I clicked through to catchit via Tripadvisor which in itself is a disgrace. Catchit's business model appears to be to sell rooms below market rate, take customers money, then try to negotiate with hotel owners to accept the lower rate. I found it to be a scam as did my credit card company who actually declined the transaction as fraud.

NEVER WILL DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

I booked via catchit 2 rooms in a hotel, got a confirmation from them for the reservation. After 5 days I asked for an invoice to pay for the reservation. Answer was we draw money from your credit card and you will receive an invoice later. Very suspicious behaviour, so I called the Hotel directly and guess what - there is no reservation. Hands off from that company.

Absolute sham of a business, booked 1 weeks family room, departing August 2025, had recently emailed them to pay balance and they’ve advised that the hotel wasn’t confirmed at time of room request. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

Just had a great stay at a resort booked through CatchIt. Like other positive reviews, I called the hotel after my payment went through to confirm they had my reservation and they did. Everything was smooth and we paid so much less than the prices shown on other sites. This appears to be the English branch of a well known Spanish booking site called Atrapolo. I think that as long as you get the initial confirmation (which shows up within 48 hours I believe), you're good to go.

Avevo prenotato una camera di hotel e subito dopo il pagamento si è segnata lì un errore, ma i soldi li hanno scalati lo stesso ma senza darmi nessun tipo di conferma oppure mail di ricevuta prenotazione, ho subito inviato un ticket ma non ho mai ricevuto una risposta il numero verde è inesistente. Lo sconsiglio vivamente.

DONT BOOK HERE! Showed up to my hotel and they had switched me to a shittier place out of the downtown area. Their email went to spam so nobody actually informed me. Hotel had plenty of rooms, so they’re just jerking you around to who gives them the best deal last minute. All the reviews I found are trash also.

We just came yesterday to Tenerife, have booked a hotel with catchit. Was worried because of reviews, but as in previous comment, I called hotel before they were supposed to charge my acc, hotel confirmed that booking is already paid. So here we are in Gara suites, 2 weeks lovely time and lots of saving with Catchit. As the price was really much cheaper then other companies offered.

Abzocker Firma. Hotel in Florida über "catchit" bzw. "atralpo" gebucht + bezahlt. Tatsächlich wurden dann noch $ 36 PRO TAG mit diversen dubiosen Steuern draufgeschlagen.
Wg. Evakuierung des Hotels (Hurricane) musste ich einen Tag früher raus. Rückerstattung gab es nicht. Nie wieder!

Wanted to give zero stars…. Am the owner of a small guest house of sorts in northern England. Have just discovered these chancers offering an en-suite room here that is already booked out for the night ( I should know! ) yet they’re prepared to take £55 off somebody naive enough to book through them.
DON’T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM. In fact, as an independent accommodation offering, might I suggest people just contact a property directly - which I know is being made increasingly harder to do. Good Luck!

Vente de chambres d'hôtel sans l'autorisation des hôteliers. Ils prennent les coordonnées bancaires des clients alors même qu'il n'y a plus de dispo dans l'hôtel sélectionné ! ne pas réserver avec eux !

We paid Catchit to book a hotel. Catchit did not book the hotel, they just took our money. I have been requesting a refund ever since. Customer Service is appalling. It is hard to determine whether they are criminals or incredibly incompetent. We will be seeking legal advice, however, judging from the comments, this is not an isolated incident.

Hab Hotel für Juni gebucht. Hatte zuerst ein mulmiges Gefühl. Hab dann im Hotel angerufen. Die haben mich sofort gefunden und bestätigt.

Alles gut gelaufen.

Booked our usual apartments - they took payment then said they would contact the complex and see if they were available- they then confirmed they were fully booked so would refund me. Have checked again today and they are still selling the apartments for the dates I require and I haven’t been refunded !!!!!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - Catch it / Hoteles Atrapalo.

Like many reviews, they don't deserve 1 star, they entice customers on price but not worth the risk.
They even use Booking.com reviews to give you peace of mind, but in reality they use cheaper accommodation options and their reviews are Poor
In our case we were misled and instead of our chosen hotel apartments (which we stayed at in the previous year) they had booked us a Private Owners Apartment which was an absolute sxxthole.
We complained but they weren't even interested in helping our family, so we had to bite the bullet and fork out for another 3000 euros to secure a decent room in the complex.
Very lucky as it was mid August and the hotel happened to have 1 last room to keep us off the streets as we couldn't have stayed in the filthy ant infested room, leaking AC units, stained bedding and a washing machine with No Door :(
Best to avoid, not worth the risk.

This company are deliberately scamming their customers. It is endemic throughout the company. Do not gamble on them. This is how it works:-

You book a hotel room through them. They then send you a voucher for a hotel with a very similar name, but significantly cheaper.

In my case I booked 4 rooms costing £4,257 each per room and the hotel on the voucher was being offered by them for £2,893 at the exact same time.

In most cases, their customers will arrive at the hotel they believe they’ve booked and be told that they don’t have a room. When shown the voucher, the hotel might then direct them to the cheaper hotel.

CatchIT only has a Spanish answerphone on their telephone number. They don’t answer it. They are also very slow at replying to emails. So in this situation, you’d either have to accept the cheaper accommodation or rebook your preferred accommodation and gamble on this fraudulent company refunding you.

In my case, I messaged the hotel prior to arrival to reconfirm our reservation. When they denied knowledge of it, I emailed CatchIt who repeatedly told me not to worry about it and just to present the voucher on arrival.

Eventually they told me there was a tracking error and admitted that I was booked in to a different hotel. But the hotel was of the same category, apparently, and the booking was non-refundable.

I declined to accept the new hotel and asked someone to call me. They refused to call and it took several days of me emailing them multiple times per day to elicit a meaningful response. Eventually they agreed to refund the booking but only after some very firm emails from me. If I had had less time between noticing the problem and departing, I wouldn’t have reached this resolution.

You can tell by the number of reviews on this matter and the way the employees handled it that it is a deliberate and regular MO for them.

They do not appear to be regulated by ABTA, ATOL etc so there is no regulatory route to make a complaint. They are also based in Spain so very difficult to take legal action against.

I am significantly out of pocket as a result of using them due to price movements whilst I waited for a resolution, during which time I was unable to make a back-up booking in case they refused to refund me.
