Carved Arvostelua 

I've been buying from Carved for several years and have always loved their unique products. The quality of the design and the craftsmanship are outstanding, which is why this experience was so disappointing.

When I contacted customer support about my case, the communication was courteous, professional and prompt throughout. Unfortunately, the available solutions didn't work in practice for an international customer.

To exchange the case, I would have had to pay more than CHF 50 just for return shipping from Switzerland, followed by shipping costs for the replacement and potentially Swiss import VAT again. In the end, the exchange would have cost so much that it simply wasn't worth it. The only alternative offered was a 25% discount on purchasing another case.

I don't blame the customer service representative—they were friendly and tried to help within the company's policy. However, I do think Carved should reconsider how warranty and exchange cases are handled for customers outside the US.

The products are beautiful, but a premium brand should also offer a premium after-sales experience.

I would give no stars if I could. I been emailing for weeks wanting to return these cases with no reply. Buyer beware if get one and want to return good luck.

I've been ordering Carved phone cases for YEARS, at least since I think the S6 or S8? I absolutely love their phone cases. While I've never invested in the live edge case, I would imagine that the beauty would be even better than the traveler cases! They're also extremely durable. I mean, I drop my phone A LOT, and the way this case is made has protected my phone all but one time from being shattered (with the one time not being anything the case could have prevented). I've gotten some of the standard resin + wood cases, while also getting the engraved nature ones and I love them all so much. I can't imagine that I would ever get another phone case that would even compare to the beauty and quality that Carved provides. I absolutely love them and their little messages they provide when the case arrives. I could not recommend them enough!

I pre-ordered a Carved EDC dark knife on day one. (I also did pre-order orders for my nephews and stepdaughter’s boyfriend, who are all Carved fans.) I just received my EDC dark as I picked it out the moment access for pre-orders opened. It is a gorgeous example of the Bloom collection featuring purple and red flowers and a spruce like wood burl. The knife is made of gorgeous Damascus steel. It is sleek, well balanced, and the new quick release button works beautifully. With a bit of practice you can flip the knife open, hit the quick release button and flip it back closed. As much as I adore and miss the LiveEdge knives, the EDC Dark may be my favorite Carved blade yet: it is a sublime piece of functional art. I could not be happier and will be haunting the site for my next EDC Dark.

I was so excited to get this case. I opened the box. The case itself is absolutely gorgeous, but scratched and seems to be used. The back isn't flush. It's absolutely not worth the price I paid.
Custom service is okay. But I can either pay to have it sent back for a refund or for them to fix it. Or I can keep it and get a $8.10 refund... Which is absolutely insane.
I'm incredibly disappointed.

This does not fit. This is my 3rd case, the other 2 were perfect. This one is too small, I was afraid I would crack the screen trying to force it on. The charging port is too small and almost all chargers including the Samsung one do not fit. You can't get the pen out either because the cutout is too small. I called and the customer service lady was very rude. Now I can't get this thing off and it's basically making my phone unusable.

I just received my "Elvis" case and I love it! The quality is outstanding, the design is even more striking in person, and the clicky buttons are great! I really cannot believe I got a handmade phone case for this price!

Spend the money, it's worth it! Buy the live edge cases. It's worth every single penny.

Very attractive

I came across Carved several times on social media and eventually decided to order a case for my iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Their website states that overseas orders to the UK should take 15–20 days, but mine took significantly longer. I contacted them about the delay, and to their credit, they responded quickly and reached out to USPS to move things along.

When the case arrived, I was happy it finally came, but disappointed with the quality. It didn’t feel as protective as I expected. The case felt flimsy, and the design seemed like it could easily crack or break off the shell.

Less than two weeks later, the coating on the case started to wear away and has continued to get worse. The surface also developed a slimy feeling, which usually only happens to cases after years of use — not within days.

I messaged Carved on Instagram about the issue, but the response time wasn’t what I had anticipated. They were active for a long time before opening or replying to my message, which felt inconsistent with the high praise I had seen about their customer service.

When they finally responded, they asked me to email them — which I did. However, they now want me to send the case back to them because they can’t see the defects in photos, which makes it feel like they don’t believe what I’m describing. They also said they would need up to 7 days to review the case after they receive it - which seems particularly unlikely.

Overall, I’m disappointed. Many reviews I saw highlighted how excellent their products and customer service were, but my personal experience hasn’t matched that. Unfortunately, I don’t see myself purchasing from Carved again.

I’ve been ordering products from Carved for years and have never been disappointed. Absolutely top-notch quality, design, and customer service. I can’t recommend this U.S. small business enough!

The folk carved are very responsive when you’re ordering your new piece of artwork for your phone. Every question I had was answered quickly.

Now that I’ve received my new piece of artwork I can’t stop touching it. I can’t stop holding my phone. I can’t stop looking at it. And neither can anyone who sees my phone. Once they touch it they’re absolutely amazed because frankly, I don’t think they understand what it is until they touch it.

This is my second iPhone case and I will continue to buy them every time I switch my phone.

These cases are beautiful and very protective. I’ve been a Carved customer for at least five years and have no complaints. I just get compliments on my beautiful phone cases.

Easy to navigate website, incredible one of a kind designs and clear expectations on the products. I absolutely love my case I’m a huge fan of resin designs and this has far exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait for mountain / resin design options!

I have purchased several products from Carved now spanning a few years, and from the beginning I have been impressed with this company. Their pieces are unique and one of a kind. You can feel the love that goes into them. As a craftsman and artist myself. I love supporting other artists and crafty folks doing good work. And in a world that seems to have abandoned customer service, these cool cats do it right!! It is truly refreshing. Quality product from quality people. Fan for life

This one-of-kind iPhone 17 Pro Max case is a work of art. This cover protects my new phone’s camera—the three lens—where other cases don’t. But other cases are not handmade either. The phone is weighty, but not this case. I love it: the artful design, easy care and the fact it’s handmade. Congrats to the craftsman. It’s worth more to me than I paid for it!

It was shipped and received very fast. It feels nice in the hand compared to other cases. It’s beautiful and even if they try to do the same design again it’s still a one of a kind piece of art.
