I placed an order on 5/April/2026 and as of today (the 15th) I have received no update on my order. This would be fine if there was some sort of communication to clarify the reason for the delay and that there would be a resolution; this is not the case.
Thankfully I made my order through PayPal, so I’m going through the help centre there and will hopefully get my money back, but I cannot stress it enough to not order from this site.

Looks Like Tariffs Are Affecting Business
In a nutshell, my experience in the past with Caribshopper was an easy 5 stars so I placed an order again last month (March 2026) and thought nothing of it.
When I didn't get a shipping confirmation after the allotted timeframe, I reached out and heard nothing, which is unusual. I did some digging and discovered that Caribshopper may or may not be able to continue to operate.
It appears that the U.S. tariffs, which were already bad enough, were increased in August of last year for Trinidad, along with increased customs enforcement.
If you look at the negative reviews on this site most of them begin in, or after, August 2025 when the new U.S. tariff standards hit.
There doesn't appear to be anything that Caribshopper can do about that except try to fulfill orders where possible, which must be increasingly difficult.
However, what is within their control is their customer service. They may have had to make some tough decisions recently in regard to staffing as well as how they operate, but a simple auto-reply on their emails, voice mail and online chat explaining the circumstances and apologizing for the inconvenience, at the very least, is not outside of their capacity.
Even if the business shuts down for now due to circumstances beyond their control, these tariffs won't last forever and if they ever want to restart the business again they could retain their customer base by ending now with transparency in a way that makes people want to utilize them again if they come back without having to rebrand.
In fact, if they are forced to close down but can show high customer demand and satisfaction during this debacle anyway, this gives them leverage to apply pressure up the chain in order to try and affect some change sooner than later.
Anyway, it looks like these tariffs may have once again ruined another good business, or at least fundamentally changed how they operate for now.
3 stars because of prior excellent experience but current lack of transparency. Will change it to 5 stars if the customer service and transparency improves.
Update: I did finally receive my entire order on April 13th, 2026. There was no response or correspondence from the company though.

Placed an order for almost $400 since January 26th. After a month and a half received some of the items and this was after sending multiple emails and getting several promises. Still, as of today have not received the balance of my order. And they are not returning Calls or emails. I am so disappointed with this company now since I have ordered in the past with minor issues, and spending thousands of hard earned money with them but still continued to work with them in support of my country and wanting to see them flourish. Heartbroken, but I will have to end our business relationship. 1

Took a month to get half my order after I threatening to call my bank and cancel payment. Still waiting on the rest. Will not answer emails. I've left over 20 now in the past 1.5 months. Won't fall for their game again.
Ongoing Issues With Incomplete Order
It has now been over eight weeks, and I still have not received my full order.
After multiple complaints, I received part of the order at around six weeks; however, six items were missing, in addition to seven other items that were never included. I had to call and email several times just to receive this partial shipment. I was then advised that the remaining items would be mailed over two weeks ago, but they have still not arrived.
To make matters worse, one of the items I did receive was stale.
This experience has been extremely disappointing. I genuinely want to support my country, local products, and a Caribbean-focused retailer, but it has been far too difficult to get a simple order fulfilled. The repeated delays, lack of follow-through, and product quality issues have made this process unnecessarily frustrating.
Items not received
This company does not communicate with its customers promptly and has not fulfilled nor shipped the items purchased. I purchased five products from this company on December 20, 2025, and the items have not been received as of January 20, 2026. I would not recommend conducting business with this unprofessional company, as I am currently in dispute over receiving a refund for items not received but paid for.

I am extremely disappointed with Caribshopper and feel compelled to warn others about my experience.
On October 7, 2025, I placed an order totaling $100.00. Today is November 26, 2025, and I still have not received my order.
I sent six emails to their customer service, and every single reply was the same generic line: “We are working on getting your order shipped.”
I requested a refund three separate times, and not once was my request acknowledged or processed.
This is not my first bad experience with Caribshopper. The first order I placed (over $100) took about seven weeks to arrive. When it finally did, three products were opened and scattered inside the box. I asked for a refund for those damaged items, but they flatly denied it.
Because I am from the Caribbean, I wanted to support a Caribbean business. I gave them a second chance, but I absolutely regret that decision. Their lack of accountability, poor shipping practices, and refusal to honor refunds show a complete disregard for customers.
I will never order from Caribshopper again, and I strongly advise others to avoid them as well.

I placed an order for over $150, and after three weeks I still hadn’t received my package or any updates. I had to contact them myself to find out what was going on. The representative told me there was a shipping delay due to tariffs, so I canceled the order and requested a refund. Since then, I’ve been calling and messaging, but I keep getting the same excuse that the accounting department is “handling my request.” CaribShoppers had no problem taking my money, but now I’m getting the runaround. It’s been three months and I still have no refund and no response.

I expected a 2 week turnaround, but it is now Nov 19th and after several requests for updates and finally to cancel and refund my order, I just contacted my bank to dispute it.

I really wished I read reviews before ordering with this company. I ordered since mid August. It shows shipping label created Aug 27 and no update on Route. They have given me the same excuse on Sept 29 that their orders were held up at Customs for 4 weeks and was released that day. On Nov 5th the email response said my items were sent with their shipment that day and a soon as it was cleared through customs they would send tracking number. But it shows a ups label was created Aug 27 on Route. These people are unbelievable.

I would give caribshopper a NEGATIVE -100 review rate. They are the ones that give Trinidad a terrible name - so upsetting. My experience was utterly upsetting and they should cease operating. I placed an order with Caribshopper on August 28th and have yet to receive the items. This represents a substantial delay of over two months.
When I contacted the company one month into the delay, the stated reason was "current US tariffs" stalling their shipments. Two months after the order date, the items still have not been delivered.
The company's customer service has been unresponsive. I formally requested a refund a week ago and have received zero response or communication regarding the status of the refund.
Verdict: Do NOT shop here. Caribshopper has demonstrated a fundamental failure in fulfillment and customer service. Potential customers should be aware that this appears to be a scam operation that takes payment but does not deliver goods or process refunds. DO NOT SHOP ON CARIBSHOPPER.COM!
