While I've only thus far interacted with Careervive and Aneal through a presentation on careers in a changing world, I found the session invaluable and immensely thought provoking. It has already sparked my enthusiasm and a new way of introspecting my skill set which I am sure will be useful going forward.

Aneal is an absolute legend!

When I started working with him, I’d been out of work for around six months and, if I’m honest, I’d lost a lot of my enthusiasm and motivation when it came to finding a new role. From the beginning, Aneal took the time to really understand my experience, the roles I’d held and where I wanted to go next. He revamped my CVs, helped me position my experience properly and made sure everything was tailored towards the types of roles I wanted to pursue.

What really sets Aneal apart, though, is that he does far more than just help with CVs and interview preparation. He has an incredible ability to shift your mindset when you’ve become stagnant or started second-guessing yourself. There were so many occasions where I’d tell him I wasn’t sure I had the experience a role was asking for, and he would immediately show me not only why I was capable of doing it, but exactly how the experience from my previous roles translated across.

He was brilliant at reminding me how capable I actually was at a point when I had lost some of that momentum and perspective myself.

He supported me throughout the entire process — revamping my CVs, preparing me for interviews and adapting the preparation at every stage depending on the role and what was coming next. Everything felt genuinely tailored rather than formulaic. Whenever I was overthinking something, worrying about how I would answer a particular interview question or simply needed some perspective, he was there.

Aneal is also incredibly perceptive and emotionally intelligent. He understands that finding a job, particularly after a period out of work, isn’t just about having the right CV or knowing the right interview answers. There’s a psychological side to it too — motivation, self-belief, mindset and how you present yourself and he is exceptionally good at helping with all of that. That’s why I genuinely think he is much more than just a careers coach.
After being out of work for six months, I actually ended up securing a new role within a month.
