Never used an auction site before and found it really interesting and informative...l wasn't looking forward to trying to sell it privately because of all the hassle. It's not the cheapest way of selling a car but it worked for me.James was brilliant, honest, straight talking and never put any pressure on us to do anything we weren't happy to do.
I'd recommend it.... helps you to way up the pros and cons and for me the biggest takeaway was being confident the money was secured and the handover straight forward.

easy to deal with, contact was good. Organised photos presenting the vehicle well. It was good to speak with Joe on the phone a lot better than E mails, especially for silly old so&so's ! like me. Can highly recommend.
PS It would have been nice to have the prices from 2-3 years ago!

I won a 1953 MG TD and this car was presented really well. The pictures were excellent and there was so many of them you could not fault the work that was put into the photography. The car was faultless and the owner was fantastic. Car and Classic was fantastic and I really like there business model. I booked delivery through them and the cost of delivery was very reasonable and the driver was superb and very helpful. Unlike some auction houses that insist on a large deposit, Car and Classic relate it to the car bid value and it is not taken unless you win the car. I cannot praise Car and Classic enough for their superb service and this will be the first place I will go should I need them again. My family and friends now know about them and they all love the car that I purchased.

My buyer was from Spain but the contact with the buyer was poor. It was left to me to keep chasing the new buyer up to arrange collect.
The charge of £600 for after sales was ridiculous as I had to do all the chasing and the admin for the car to be exported.

During the purchase of a automobile I had a issue where the seller fell ill and passed away, despite this the cars and classic team were able to keep the sale going, verifying paperwork for a relative of the deceased and running the situation by their legal team who cleared everything and allowed for a smooth buying experience despite the circumstances

I used Car and Classic auctions for the first time to sell a race car that otherwise just wasn't selling. Max assisted me all the way through, with effective communication on WhatsApp to get things set up easily, with photos and a great write up. When the auction went live, bids started coming in, and really heated up towards the end. Max was online as the auction was happening for advice and any necessary adjustments, eventhough it was well afterhours. My vehicle sold, and even after the sale there was ongoing support for handover and supply of the photographs taken. Altogether a professional and trustworthy operation, for both buyers and sellers.
