Cairngorm Group Arvostelua 5

Everything started great but 16wks of hearing nothing I phoned them up. The female who answered could not find my order, they had received 15% as a deposit. She asked if she could phone me back, which she did 15mins later. Wouldn't you know my order just arrived that morning. My door & side panels were installed on the 9th September. I had to leave it till the silicone dried. Two days later I wiped it down. The joints in the panels were a mess with excess silicone. I sent the photos to one of the owners a Scott Dowling. He never replied, still hasn't. I contacted their representant Stephen Hobban. I told him how disappointed I was in their lack of care for customers. I told him about Scott Dowling ignoring my email with photos. Stephen had just arrived at the office and was on his way to have a word with Mr Dowling and get back to me. Neither have, Yes I love the look of my door and considering what I paid I expected the finishes to be worthy of the thousands they were paid. They would be the last company I would buy anything else from! Shocking how little they care about Quality Control in their line of business.

We were given rough timelines at the start and every step happened almost to the day! The windows are exactly what we wanted with the added unexpected benefit of reduced noise which we hadn't realised was an issue with the old windows. I'm looking forward to a draft free, quiet winter.

The team who fitted the windows were brilliant. They were really polite, tidy, and cleaned up really well before they left. Because of the nature of our driveway and their access, they had to block our neighbours in. They were ready and willing to move, so much so that my neighbour commented to me that when she had to ask them to move they were surprisingly helpful, and that she was really impressed! There was no fuss, they just got on with a really professional job.

I've previously had a great experience when they've changed panes in our conservatory - I couldn't be at home so I just locked the internal door and they replaced the pane and you'd never know they'd been (except that the replacement obviously wasn't blown).

The whole team was brilliant, from Stephen's initial visit, to the surveyor, the lady who took our payment over the phone (even though I didn't have the reference) and the fitters.

We are consistently impressed by the service we receive from Cairngorm Group. (As an aside, having replaced windows in the past the price was less than I expected too!).

I expect to replace more conservatory panes with them in the coming year(s).

Initially conservative construction very good. During construction burst main water pipe, plumber sent to repair, repaired burst, checked house taps for grit but did not check main on/off tap which has been seized ever since. They are refusing to do this easy fix.
Therefore have to say after service very poor to non existent.

We had a Conservatory built by the Cairngorm Group and they must be the most frustrating company I have ever dealt with! So why the 5 star review you may ask, well the quality of their work is exceptionally good. If they say it will take 3 weeks it is more likely to take 3 months but some of that is out of their control, such as the weather. Their communications are intermittent until you make a noise and then the communications are excellent, as I said they are a frustrating company. They are more expensive than others but the finished result is worth it. We kept a close eye on the Building warrant so we knew when that was submitted and the work would be starting. If they could polish up on their communications and perhaps employ a customer experience manager, then the customer communications would be a lot better. That said, we were really pleased with the end result, which was built in difficult circumstances and with many challenges to overcome, their work is professional, the building people that come are great. All in, I would highly recommend them but expect to be frustrated at times, but it's worth it in the end.

Terrible customer service and quote I received on behalf of my Dad in Scotland was £2000 above others !!
