DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SUPPLIER. Extremely poor quality but with very high price tags. The return policy is complicated and costly resulting in the item costs again in postage to send back overseas.
I'd highly suggest you shop on Shein or similar for les cost and similar quality.

The items I received were of shocking quality, and when I tried to return them, I was told to ship them back to a Chinese address at my own expense. My return package has been stuck in customs since the beginning of July, and I’ve been asked to pay additional fees to have it released. Very disappointing experience overall.

I ordered what looked like a stylish corduroy blazer from By Castello at the end of October. The photos and description showed a tailored cord jacket, but what arrived weeks later was a cheap synthetic imitation that looked nothing like the pictures.

After no proper updates and multiple delays, I raised a dispute with Monzo. Only then did the company respond — and I was refunded (both by my bank and later by them).

The product shipped from China despite the site implying a European brand. Very deceptive setup — polished website, fake marketing, and terrible product quality.

Avoid this site. If you’ve already ordered, contact your bank immediately and request a chargeback.

Ordered Cargo Shorts, wrong colour and poor material, basically you could see right through them. Offered 5% and then 10% but agreed to send back. They gave me returns address with no postcode, several courier companies could not send as they require a postcode. Managed to find the postcode online and sent the parcel, luckily took photos before I sent as after I sent they advised they would need photos as proof. Parcel has been stuck in the local customs office in China for 3 weeks as they need to pay some sort of local taxes and although I am bring told by Evri that customs are sending emails to bycastello regarding the required payment, nothing is being done, I have even offered to re-imburse them for the taxes that need to be paid. They hide behind any excuse to avoid paying out a refund. Dont bother trying to send anything back, it will never arrive. AVOID!!!!

Jag har försökt reklamera en trasig tröja nu i fyra månader men får bara samma svar, att de inte betalar frakt för reklamationer eller returer. Ett stort hål i tröjan är inte en reklamation enligt dem. Jag misstänker att de satt en AI på att svara sina kunder. Telefonnumret på hemsidan är inte i bruk. Handla inte från företaget. Värdelös kvalitet på kläder och bedrövlig behandling av kunder.

I bought a top which was too short for my son and the quality of the material was not good. I wanted to return it, and realised I might have to pay the postage. They would not give me a return address. After a number of prevaricating emails back and forth, they said I had missed the 30 days deadline. Do not use.

Avoid avoid avoid, I ordered a shirt which I received but they had sent the wrong colour, I messaged them to advise them of their mistake and wanted to return the shirt only to be informed that this wasn’t covered by their returns policy, after a few more emails and getting frustrated at lack of progress they eventually said we could return it but we would have to pay the postage and they would refund us after inspecting the product. Considering that the postage was very expensive as it was to China and the fact that I had zero confidence in receiving any refund I was forced to keep the shirt, even though it was their error. Most unhelpful and will never deal with this company again!

If it was possible I would give less than one star for this company.
Avoid at all cost, the products are rubbish, the customer service is basically AI response, and returns are not possible as can not do in the time frame allocated and cost too much anyway.
They will offer 5% refund, and later a 10% and that’s the best you’ll get.
So basically avoid avoid avoid, enough said!

I had to go to my Bank to get a refund because Like many reviews of this company i have nothing good to say The (cotton t-shirt) I ordered arrived made of anything but cotton and they wanted me to send it back to China at my own expense. No No No.

Terrible quality, badly packaged. I ordered 3 of the same different colours, one was not even the same a worse quality than the other 2. Don't buy.

Bought clothes in good faith, on the understanding buying online is protected by the right to return if you don't like them. Package came broken, weeks after I needed it, quality was abysmal, contacted byCastello to return them. They offered 5% refund after making me photograph every item, and just said 'not in line with our returns policy'. So I have 300 GBP worth of poor quality tat that I'll never wear, and the company refused to refund me. Eventually when I copied in all the consumer protection organisations I could think of, they upped their offer to 10%. With a return address to China at my cost. So what to do - spend even more money to return goods to China, with no guarantee of refund, or take their lowball offer? Do not go near this company - shocking service and completely in breach of UK customer protection laws, but being based in China suspect they couldn't care lessl

Terrible - I wish I had read the feedback on this company before I purchased anything from them. I ordered linen trousers and when they arrived were 100% polyester. There was a large stain on one pair of trousers, they were of poor quality and were definitely not the size I ordered. The same problem as everyone else with trying to return them - a returns policy which only becomes clear when you contact them, a demand to return the product to China at your own expense and an offer of a 10% voucher on future purchases. Don’t go near this company.

Do not buy from this company. Very bad quality, nothing like they advertise. From China with no consumer rights. You will be wasting your money.

Same experience as everyone else. I complained about being sent polyester instead of linen and items which were clearly too small. Asked for full refund to be told I’d instead get 10% off next purchase. After weeks of correspondence nonsense from them, I got my bank to refund me the cost I paid, this is the way to get your cash bank.

I experienced the same problems as many people described (wish I'd seen in sooner...). I bought a pair of sandals but the straps were too wide for my feet and very uncomfortable. I asked to return them the day they arrived and was told to send back to China at my own expense, even though there was a UK return address on the package! They offered 5% compensation, which is a joke. We exchanged emailed back and forth, they went up to 10%. When I had finally given in and accepted the 10% I was told that the 30 days stated in their return policy had passed and they wouldn't offer any form of compensation. Absolutely shocking business model! How can they legally operate???

I have the same experience everyone else has had. Ordered a garment, it arrived and wasn't cotton as advertised but labeled polyester. After many emails, where I refused to pay to ship to China for the return, as the policy stated that faulty or incorrect items would have a shipping label provided and they said that's not their policy despite me providing them a screen shot of said policy. Emailing them was like talking to a wall – its either an AI bot or an obstinate refusal to engage with reading comprehension.

At that point I had checked here and seen that the returns were not worth it, so I persisted in emailing as I wan't going to pay more money to ship the item to China, which is when they were like – oh its been more than 30 days. It was like screaming into the void.

I think everyone who's had a poor experience should report them to the trading commission, which I have done. I don't expect to recoup any funds but I hope they are investigated.

Do not even deserve a 1, unable to give 0! Total scam! The shorts ordered were awful!! Nothing like the picture, the colour the shape the material all completely different. Asked to return, they said at own cost, another £22.70, they have now said that they have not received within 30 days, although returned within 2 days of receipt!! Don’t reply to emails, how are these people still allowed to trade??? Surely trading standards should be involved due to items being 1. Not what was advertised 2. Not actually fit for purpose 3. Do not have any kind of customer services. My husband is now over £80 out of pocket with nothing to show for it, disgusting!!!

Fraudulent operation. We paid a lot of money for two linen jackets that looked nice in the photos . What was sent were two cheap jackets straight from a dodgy factory in China - they didn’t even have proper labels. They were awful. The returns process was impossible and by castello want you to return to a foreign address and pay postage yourself and have it tracked and signed for - so expensive. I accepted a partial refund without returning the items of a tiny amount but then decided I would try returning them- they wouldn’t let me. I have reported them to cyber fraud UK as this is clearly a scam.
