You stay away from THIS!
I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order.
The company sends daily emails "from the owner" claiming high business standards, but according to their own customer service representatives, those emails have nothing to do with the actual situation. They are simply misleading. They advertise products as "in stock" when they are not actually available. After placing your order, you're left waiting through extremely long lead times, -forget proactive updates! Forget respectful customer service! I would say - you are lucky if you receive anything form them. I'm still waiting.

Why can i put an item in the cart pay for it with shipping to later find out you do not have it.. I wasted my time shopping on your site and then had to waste time to get refunded.. STOP SELLING THINGS YOU DO NOT HAVE!!!!!

I am sharing a similar experience to some of the recent low star reviews.
Short version:
I believe this company is pulling from a large bin of used or returned parts and reselling them as new. If you want to email someone who comes across like an "apathetic teenager with poor grammar", this is the company for you.

Long version:
I ordered a light from Lotus through Buy-Rite. The product that arrived looked like the spring clips had already been damaged (likely from a prior install), and the driver included was for a different light. I reached out, and they sent a replacement driver. I was willing to overlook the used spring clips at that point.

Later, due to a design change, I tried to source the same light in a different color.
The attitude and aptitude of what seemed like a teenager/ a person with their first customer service job was in charge of emailing back and forth, very frustrating.
I had to follow up multiple times about a colored baffle/ trim, and they eventually responded that it only comes in round bronze. However, the spec sheets, SKUs, and other retailers clearly show multiple combinations of reflectors and trims. It was obvious they didn’t understand their own product.

At that point, I lost confidence that they could resolve the issue, so I requested to cancel the new order and return the original light.

They responded that I would be responsible for a restocking fee and return shipping. I pushed back, noting that the light appeared used. They said they would check with Lotus. After nine days with no update (unsurprisingly), I followed up again.

They ultimately told me that Lotus refused the return and that I would still need to pay return shipping.
I had to submit a CC dispute for refused return.

They charged my credit card for $250 of light switches and wouldn't cancel my order after 2 requests and 6 weeks of no delivery. Twice they said it would be"2 weeks", which came and went. The other times they didn't even respond. The second time I told them to cancel, they mailed it the day after.

These guys are a joke, they have some great, well polished marketing but do not deliver on any of their promises, in other words, "Kevin" is full of crap. They have nothing in stock, and after I submitted my $5,000 order and after their many promises of same business day shipping I get an email saying all my products are 10-15 day order and they suggest I should just cancel my order. Don't waste your time.

Ordered items shown as “in stock” on their website. The next day I got an email saying there was a 10 day lead time on my order.

They seem to misrepresent the state of their inventory in the hopes that you won’t cancel your order. Don’t waste your time. Reward businesses that conduct themselves honestly.

Buy Rite is a good company with responsive emailing. The issue is not their fault however they had the product shipped directly from the manufacturer. A warning for others the manufacturer Nora lighting, does not ship their products protected at all.

@ Nora Lighting I spent $1000 dollars for ceiling can lights. They shipped them very poorly with little protection. More than half of them arrived dented and damaged. They should know better to better protect expensive merchandise to their customers. Complete waste of money! I wish I could attach pictures to this review.

Order twice from this website, first time I ordered 5 of the same part. Recieved what was obviously used parts. There were pieces missing form 2 of the parts and a couple of the others looked old and oxidized. Second time I emailed them and asked to add an additional item to one of the pieces. Was told they would then they said they couldn't without any explanation. Then they said they were going to cancel the entire order when I pressed them for an explanation. Then a week later they said they were shipping it.
