BuyMaterials replaces that process with a single, simple workflow. Customers build a list of what they need, set a delivery date, and submit it to the network. Local merchants then compete for the business by submitting their best prices through the platform. The customer reviews the offers and places their order in one click. What used to take hours of phone calls and site visits now takes minutes. The platform serves three main audiences. Trade and professional customers, including builders, contractors and specialist tradespeople, benefit most from the time savings and the ability to manage multiple projects and materials lists in one place. Self-builders get access to competitive merchant pricing that has historically been difficult to secure without an established trade relationship. DIY and home customers can search thousands of products across categories including building materials, timber and sheet materials, plumbing and heating, electrical, fixings, tools and more. I've just used Buymaterials.com for the first time. A very straightforward, easy to use website and great that you can obtain quotes so quickly for your project. I had collated several quotes myself beforehand but Buymaterials were more competitive. I contacted customer care a couple of times with questions and found Stewart very helpful and reassuring. I've just received my first delivery of materials on the date requested with no hitches. So far very impressed.

The service is easy to use. Somebody checked in with me to offer assistance (it wasn't needed but good to know I could contact somebody).
The supplier delivered the goods and it was a lot cheaper than going direct.

Building our home extension.
We have been building our home extension since August last year , and most materials have been purchased through this website. Jonathan has helped us get quotes and materials since day one, and would have saved us hundreds of not thousands of £. Always quick to respond even when we were under time constraints. Highly recommended and will continue using their services as we work on the interiors.
